    Very pretty!

Not sure what I'll end up doing re decs this year. Not feeling very Christmassy (someone called me The Grinch yesterday :)). I did buy some decorations in the Jan sales. Returned my parents' ancient fake tree mid-year.

Would be nice to decorate the place - esp as there will be someone in the house the whole time, and I'm not sure they've lived in a house that's decorated for Christmas before. Will have to see what I feel like next weekend as to whether I go tree shopping I guess.

Ooh and I have a wicker wreath I was going to decorate with holly from the garden. Hmmm...

I really wanted to do a particular wreath this year but haven't bought the stryrofoam ring I'd need and have wreaths to use so thing I'll go with a previous years ones. I didn't get to use my favourite Halloween one ( best door decoration of the year IMO) because I was too tired to do the house :(. My other autumn wreath is my second favourite wreath and that is up until Monday.....though its out of season now really, but its somewhat weather proof.

I really love front door things. Ironic when it opens into a wreck :rotfl:

The candles actually aren't Christmas decs, but nice to light, they are cheap things I've had for , gulp, decades, though, and I'm contemplating cleaning them up and rehoming them. They're not good for out door use other wise I'd keep them for that. The colours won't work decoratively under the 'loggia' either, other wise I might have kept them for that, even though they are tat. :)

Ah, yes, advent chocolates needed for my reusable advent calendar made for me by my aunt. Thanks for the reminder!!

I like advent candles, but forget to light them so it usually takes me about 4-5 years to get through one :o:)

We have an Advent breakfast tomorrow after church, and then it's Christingle in the afternoon - a magical service.

    omg noooo!!!!!!!

    Told you not to look.

They are blown out now, relax. While I might be relaxed to leave some candles on in rooms of the house I wouldn't leave those unattended so close to a dry beam. :). Mainly I was trying to burn the candles down a little tonight. Didn't get very far, just an inch or so while doing the windows in there.

I did look at the cost of chocolate coins in Lidl.... some odd Euro printed ones (not Chrismassy!!).

What do you expect from a German supermarket?! :)

So we had more free pizza tonight from the voucher offer as we were knackered and when I put the codes in we also won a £10 to spend on anything gift card for the second time - free pizza and £10, who says there is no such thing as a free lunch :)
    I think....

Mine will too. If I end up making one. Though if I manage to get my new front door this year, I'm not sure I'll be able to bring myself to stick a wreath on it!

Speaking of wrecks, I keep distracting myself thinking about what I need/ want to do with my house/ garden and what order it all needs doing in.

I think I've established a) there is quite a lot of stuff to get sorted and b) it would be very useful to win the lottery :)

Kiwi and I played his FAVOURITE game to night.

It involves pulling me by the hair, then crawling underneath the hair curtain and kissing me very gently, making excited noises and going out to play with my hair again.

Only problem is, and reason we play it so rarely, I am bent forward for the duration. We both love playing it, but it kills my head. Poor head is throbbing and puffy:(. But its worth it. I think. Seemed it at the time.
