Having decided that maybe I should "go out", but having nowhere to go - and it being wet and miserable and cold ... I decided to go out to Lidl. I thought I'd get a bag of frozen veggies (although theirs are cr4p if you get the ones with carrots in as they're like bullets).... so I got all ready and then realised.... I can't go to Lidl because I won't just get the veggies, which I'd planned to have for tea with gravy, because once I'm in there I'll head for the mini cheesecakes ..... and the sweeties .... and the Walkers crisps. So I had to stay here because it's the only way I can stop myself from loading up with calories I don't need.

Whereas I dropped in to Mr T express on the way back from taking DS to a birthday party just to get some milk and it was yellow sticker city :)
    I think....

There are never/rarely any YS. Every time I walk into any shop I always go and look... if there ARE any then it's something like 10-50p off something costing £3-6 - and something I don't like.

You can forget YS these days.

There is usually a 'sweet spot' day or time. Waitrose is just before closing for example, heavy reductions, but the big ones have other ones. Maybe its Sunday afternoons in twenty four hour stores where they might actually close the doors for a break for a minute :D

they used to be fairly routine when I cared about those things in some places I lived. Because I shops so rarely and differently in more recent years it matters so much less and I don't care. I did find once when my nearest supermarkets was heavily reducing , should right that down in case this is 'the time' but then forgot :D

I have a mini co-op 1 min walk away i find they can be really good for yellow stickers at the right time of day, a large french stick for 9p and that lovely Red Leicester and pumpkin seed bread they do for 18p earlier in the week.

The larger supermarkets can be really poor in my experience simply too many shoppers march through and pick anything good up and its rare you find much left at the right price.

Mishap of the day a radiator valve started leaking so i grabbed a few tools and made it worse because the thread had corroded so i had no choice but to call a plumber. Naturally he didnt have the part to fix it but the leak has been stopped for a few days. He will be back Tuesday to fix it and another problem with the Honeywell 3 way valve in the airing cupboard.

On a better note my curtains are now up, but they do need shortening a touch.

I suspect that if you make it 25 minutes that's better than 35 minutes. :)
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Not sure if we have already had this but someone has compiled a list of Online courses starting each month - For November: https://www.class-central.com/report/mooc-course-report-november-2014/

Lots that would interest me were the day only to have a few more hours, perhaps I should give up working :)

what happens if you shout back?

there can be a tyranny to accommodating mental health 'tantrums' as the poorly person bullies those around them and is not asked to check their behaviour.

She cries. I do shout back quite often as it goes.
