Nice one CK. I love the war memorial to Malta near the Tower of London.

Now there was a group of people that had an amazing WW2!

Every time I see a balloon race I'm reminded of the child that received a letter from France enclosing a burst balloon and the balloon race tag along with a terse note to the effect of:

Kindly stop polluting our lovely village with your litter.

    Merci.

I'm was quite chuffed with my car mechanic skills this weekend.

Mrs. Wheezy's Hyundai's heater blower was sounding like a clogged up hoover....removed the glovebox ...heater blower engine behind it, filter on top of it... remove filter, tap tap, blow blow, tap tap, lots of fluff and dust... filter back in, glovebox back in and it's barely audible on lower speed now and purrs nicely on higher speeds.... woop woop! :)

It does seem to just fill in a gap between spooky hallowe'en-themed and easter-themed seasonal goods in our local stores.:o

I'd try one of those pizzas before you fill your freezer with them.;)

I would describe it as free cardboard.

We actually quite like those pizzas if you get the cooking right although not so keen anymore...(I am assuming this is still the Ristorante offer, I haven't actually checked)

Glad to see a good news car story as ours just goes from nightmare to disaster. I still think the problem is not just that we have a fiat but more that we have not yet found a garage that has a clue (about anything other than extracting money).
    I think....
