I've got no excuse not to deal with stuff in corners or bags now:rotfl:

    They made me laugh.

    I said

Never dust there, I'll always do it...they said...and I love them.....that lamp is gorgeous...( they are marmite lamps....I don't expect any one to like them) I said yes, but there is another one...my mother's dog broke that one a couple of years ago, my mother broke the other one recently, I'm picking it up from restoration soon!

    Head cleaner said..

I think your mother should stop in that first room, not come through here at all.

    With a big grin.

I thought it will be an easy atmosphere and they'll say if they are having an issue with something. They loved the cats too.

Two of them come. They aren't fussed about the concrete , they said....we'll vacuum, scrub the dirty bits, it'll look a bit grim, but we'll all know its clean. :).

They laugh and smile and bounce about. I liked them.

    Funny twin name list.

I googled one of the combinations as its in family by marriage but not twins, just recurring as a 'theme'.

    Well let's hope so :).

They identified I use method floor cleaner by nose :rotfl:

( they use method products )

And they were surprised I showed them were tea and coffee stuff was, and said I would expect that to make their own as they wanted or help selves to water / cordial ( I find worse thing when you are working is to have hot drink proffered and feel have to take it as it might be only chance of hydration, much rather have liberty to get my own)

My mother always did this, so maybe its just not usual in this area.

Sounds like a sensible refreshment policy to me. And I'm sure they will appreciate it as much as you appreciate their eye for decor :)

    Will delete:

Glad to hear about the Ideal Job progress, Mas, and also pleased to hear you've not been offered the first job - it means you don't have that awful dilemma and wondering 'what if?'.

    Nice cleaners, LIR :j

Hope the scan goes OK today, Gen. Both the experience and the outcome.

You're over halfway there now Chewy
Yes, ok. I hate every name OH has suggested and vice versa so perhaps we should just delegate to the NP.

Simples. We've already got a NP Kermit. Just work your way down the rest of the Muppets names ;):D:rotfl:

Nick ster....the reason I use the floor cleaner is because I like the smell.......no other reason at all. ;). Its like almonds on a hot day.

I always try and incorporate aromatherapy into housework if I can. I love the small vinegar leaves when its evaporated.....its like super clean. I like the smell of sparkling bathrooms with dettol in the loos ( you cannot use dettol much in animal house holds) I like the smell of a freshly bleached sink.

I dislike the smell of the landing we have to keep a litter tray on, never before this house have our litter trays smelled. :( I dislike the smell of dust on the back rooms. And the smell of the understairs cupboard.

I like bath foam because I find it extremely easy to use. I like flash with the smelly stuff, because its smelly while I use it ( I cannot smell it after wards ) and a little goes a long way. And I like washing up liquid. I have oven cleaner and hob bright. I reckon with that stuff you can do every thing. I don't like loads of different bottles. I have a spray bottle I make up what I want that day....flash dilution for grubby bits, washing up dilution for something I need more soapy, vinegar for windows ......

    I'm happy.

I light candles or oil burners In every room I use in the evenings, for scent. That scent never lingers so easily as nasty odours.

Where I get unhappy is RP buys cleaning stuff ( which is unused , or used once and not used again) or that I really DON'T want used in the house for some reason ( anti back, not septic tank friendly) . It clogs up the cupboard and makes life frustrating. There are Three or four plastic boxes of this stuff in the barn but new things come every week and bedroom is full of stuff ( plus carpet sweeper and other stuff) . One of our more frequent tiffs is over antibacterial wipes. Its suitable for none of my surfaces, it it were I wouldn't want it, and its so wasteful and just fills the bin. We have a huge draw full of wash able cloths.

RP won't use tissues, only hankies, so this is utterly weird IMO.
