Don't have the same initial, it will cause nightmares when they open each other's post.
A friend had twins with the same initial, it messed up savings accounts which were denoted by parent as trustee for (initials) surname dob,so both were identical. They also risk being accused of opening more than one identical account for the same reason.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I dunno, I think if I had twins I'd go for theme rather than rhyme or same letter.
I think if the abbreviation or a nick name had a same letter it would be enough.
I think the think is there is a link, so you want that to be special and recognised for them as much as anything else, but also the own ID thing.
rose and violet....both flowers, also both colours....so easy to have a pink girl and a purple girl for arguments about toys/ beakers/ dresses/ ( hope to goodness you get the colouring right choosing though!)
Think chewy likes red heads, so optimistically he could name them
Coral and ruby, or Scarlet, but the former two offer jewelery choices....( I'm not very keen on pinky rubies though. Amber would look good on a red head.0 -
*VI alert*
This will shock you, we get whatever is on special. I do worry about nano particles and the blood brain barrier...Simples. We've already got a NP Kermit. Just work your way down the rest of the Muppets names:D:rotfl:

Yep, you need two boys after this for symmetry/balance etc.:beer:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

I'm guessing (and am probably wrong), that michaels meant the Muppet.
I'm not familiar with the mumsnet version.
oh - and I agree re preferring two themed names to same letter or rhyming. Would be funnier though.
We have two sets of same initials in my family. Post is always getting opened by the wrong person.0
