I have a question for Michaels, namely how many pizzas have you bought today?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Hello everyone! Had a really great few days :)

Met the recruitment consultant, plus a colleague of his who's recruiting for other jobs I'd be interested in. Left me feeling very positive.

Then went to the assessment day (numerical, verbal, IT tests) for the Ideal Job, did those, they told us we were done and we could all go. As we were leaving the HR manager took me to one side and asked would I mind being interviewed there and then! So of course I said I wouldn't mind at all. To say I wasn't all that prepared I think it went very well indeed :) She was lovely, the guy who is the area manager for Northern Europe was a bit tougher... And I was then interviewed by the woman I'd be directly working for, and I think we got on really well (which I think is the main thing, really).

So they're ringing me tomorrow, and said if they do want a second interview (which I'm hoping is likely) it'll be tomorrow afternoon via Skype. Suits me as I'd much rather get it all done and out of the way.

I don't think it could have gone much better really.

I was rejected from the local job (yay!). I feel vindicated after the meetings and interviews I had, as I know I can do better than that, and I'd rather wait a bit longer for a better position to come along.

Spent the rest of the weekend staying at a friend's, was a bit of a uni re-union. Lovely time.

    Excellent news. :T:j:)
Hoping for the best for the Ideal Job.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
    :)

    Thank you!

It won't be the end of the world if I don't get this one as I've got the interview in Inner Herts on the 27th coming up. That would be a great job too. One of the recruitment consultants I spoke to on Friday had recruited someone into the same role, same company, last month and said the person who got it had pretty much exactly the same profile as me, so he reckons I'm in with a good shout :)

Offer has been ongoing for a few months as those pizzas are always on offer at one supermarket or another...we are a bit sick of them tbh....

I'm getting twitchy about Xmas now .... because I have a house and a tree/lights/baubles and I'm keen to get them out and up.

Wait till the start of December unless you are a retailer?
    I think....

    I've been Money Tipped!
We have two thanks giving/ harvest dried corn cobs up on the cheese room mantel piece, ( home grown , funny coloured ones) and a pheasant instead of a turkey. Also a glittery squirrel and a glittery hedgehog.

I did ask fir to dig out the Owls ( stockings) yesterday though, so I can start filling his with a couple of things I have found already.

I reckon by December I'll feel ready to decorate. I missed every thing else so far to seriously decorate.

I want to buy a styrofoam wreath to decorate. For December too.

I might, just might, put a Christmas tree up this year.....won't go as far as decorations but a tree could be the start of getting back into decorating the house for Christmas.

Last time I tried, I got depressed every time I walked into the front room.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
