Grrrr... insomnia. Yesterday I went to bed at 9.30 and slept. Tonight I just can't sleep. Annoying.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Neither can I. I shouldn't have slept during the afternoon yesterday, evidently.

Hope you get off to sleep soon.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Thanks Lydia, you too. I have been unwell for a few days, with the result that I haven't been as active as usual. As a result I have unspent energy. Am absolutely shattered though, but my brains not having any of that sleep malarkey.

Well that was a nice afternoon. I took the Generalissimos swimming and now we're at the RSL. I've got a glass of wine and we're eating pretentious Honey Soy Chicken crisps. They 'blend subtle soy notes with the sweet liveliness of Australian honey' apparently.

Looking at the ingredients list they have powdered chicken in them. How the hell do you make powdered chicken? The C21st is a very strange place to live in sometimes.

I was clearing out the garage this morning and The Girl found a cassette. She had absolutely no idea what it was.

Haha! In Claire's accessories yesterday, my friend said 'oh look, this is made like telephone cord'. Blank look from DD.

Last week, DD asked if a TV in aunt's house took DVDs 'or those big boxes'. 25 year old cousin had a moment of feeling old.

I reckon we broke even in the meat raffle this week. We won a chook tray (1 fresh chicken and some satay kebabs) and a breakfast tray (bacon, snags, eggs, tomatoes and lamb chops).

Mrs Generali is in a filthy mood. She's been shouting at me and the Generalissimos all weekend. What fun!

Doozer declined the opportunity to sit with me combined with him being allowed to watch MOTD at the same time, in favour of cleaning dog poop from the garden. I feel special.

Lots of things. She has an exam coming up, I'm losing my job, we've been given notice on the house we rent. Still it's a bit crap spending all weekend being beaten up for it. Especially as I've worked my Arsenal off this weekend.
