I make that too and it's very good, especially if fortified with a dash of sherry and topped with whipped cream.

I make my mousse differently. Its not that light, but its not like a pot . You don't want much of it. But its good. Gosh, I haven't made that for......years.

Agreed. But I suppose I am wrong in thinking that was taken as read. Its hard on this media, especially over a topic that people get very .....hot....about.

I thnk that was the tone of most of the posts though......that.....it depends.....and you just don't know until you know what the crime was and some are 'move on' able from and some are best to simply move away from. :(

That was certainly the point I was making. Lydia put it much better than I did, though.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

No, that's exactly what I mean too.

I think we are all much in agreement, so I am not sure where all the heat is coming from. Clearly, the extent of the crime matters. You would not automatically drop any friend who got a parking fine or was late returning a library book.

The massages are different on the bits of spam I've seen. Is someone really doing this by hand? What a waste of effort if they are. Pretty funny in the way that comedy graffiti is: you shouldn't really laugh because they are messing up the place but sometimes you do anyway.

That's agar agar or agar jelly I think. You need to be a little careful as it sets more than gelatine.

Blimey, we've got the first summer storm of the season. Il pleut comme la vache pis. Thunder, lighting, the works.

Indeed. . . Looks scripted though. The mods need to block posts by new users for a few days until they figure out where this is coming from and a way to stop it.

Great publicity for a company I had never heard off before. Anyone looking for a new kitchen?

See... this is what I mean :)

I thought seaweed was something that used to be found on chinese restaurant menus.... but never ordered.

Seaweed at the Chinese is normally deep fried cabbage.

Then I thought, if Maggie can do it, I can do it :)

I've come across lir, PN and NDG on other boards. I'm usually to be found on the OS board though.

Hello ivyleaf, glad to meet you! :) Pleased that my joining in gave you the courage to post! :)

My sil eats oats so they are gluten free. ( when we went to a really lovely restaurant last year she had chocolate mouse with whiskey and oats....it was really good. There was something else too, cannot remember what.... But I think she had the best pudding on the table).

Just looked up oats. Yes, they are gluten free, BUT you have to get ones labelled gluten free as most oats are milled in the same places as other grains, so cross contamination can occur. You can read about it on the Coeliac UK site.

LOL. They spam the board once or twice a week at a guess. It must get pretty annoying having to clear it up.
