The age of consent in Italy is only 14.
I believe, like in Georgia/most of the (then) CIS, it was prosecutable on parental complaint.
In the Caucasus, being one of the more traditional areas, it was very often prosecuted. In other parts where it's more acceptable, certainly not.
In the part of Georgia I lived (majority Azerbaijani, and theremore predominantly Muslim) before coming to the UK, vigilante justice was frequent, and today in this part of Georgia (but less so since the US decided to get involved for no apparent reason in the other parts). As far as I can see, almost every new member that has joined since 4:30am this morning has been part of the spam team, I have only see 2 others that have posted about other stuff.
I've reported two, and given up.
Hopefully the team will sort it out as soon as they get 2 moments
I'm having the only breakfast I'm going to get this week with my DD's (I've got to be at STN by 11.30). Someone was envious of my lifestyle on the forum (I had a PM the other week), but one of my main regrets is missing the best part of my daughters growing up.💙💛 💔0 -

Fwiw, it doesn't matter what the age of the people are. To me someone who breaks the rules as a visitor in someone else's country is a bit of a numpty.
It also wouldn't matter if it were legal in some countries, so e things would put me off a person full stop.
In some countries with low ages of consent AIUI there is very strong social balance to offset that low consent age. In others there is a shameful situation with child protection.0 -

Then again it appears in some us states the age is 18 and the np who raised this is I think quite young so we could be talking about almost 18 and 21. I agree ignorance of the law should never be an excuse but the actual situation may not be as black and white as it seems if it were looked at from a UK perspective. I'm not trying to defend the indefensible merely suggesting we don't have all the facts.I think....0

Someone's been busy this morning.
I remember Nenen from years ago. Lovely poster. The thread the angry refers to comes up first in google when putting in an infamous kitchen person's name and one of the brands associated. It hasn't made me think any better of them.
The naughty word filter could do with some vocabulary adding to itEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I think you misunderstand my point, or leap to a wrong conclusion that's weighted at one end of what I'm saying!
It doesn't matter if the age of consent is forty..don't do it away from home, challenge it at home sure, campaign against on behalf of others. America is somewhere I wouldn't want to transgress the law, personally. Its easy to be fooled,by the similarity of culture and language ( much like a girl of fifteen and three quarters compared to a girl of 16 and a bit,) but just like the girls, there are differences more often than not. And the differences vary in areas.0 -
I am seeing my body worker again today. Hopefully I'll feel three inches taller and really good after seeing her.
I've been pressing spam this morning but.....cannot keep up. While the spam is here temporarily I am not the boards worst poster. What's he on about?0 -

I need to produce pudding for 12 people next Saturday. It's my parents' 40th wedding anniversary, and their 65th birthdays, too - my Dad is 64, my Mum's about to turn 66, so they are having a joint bash half-way between their 65th birthdays.
Normally, my Mama cooks in their house, as she's a very good cook plus rubbish at delegating. For her birthday / wedding anniversay, she gets shoved out of the way, and her 3 daughters are each doing a course.
My pudding needs to be:
1. gluten-free (and properly so, sister #1 is a coeliac); and
2. vegetarian (not that troublesome for a pudding, but gelatine etc can be tricky); and
3. preferably mostly prepared in advance, so that I don't get in the way of my sisters doing the starters and mains, and also so that if Kermie's in a grump everyone isn't left sitting there getting bored.
What would the NPs suggest?
Chocolate mousse = the Delia recipe has only two ingredients, chocolate and eggs. I make it with chocolate oranges, which works well as long as you get hold of the dark ones rather than the milk ones.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

I don't think michaels is necessarily disagreeing with that. We probably all agree that the friend has been both wrong and stupid. I think michaels is addressing the question of to what extent mas should allow this incident to change his view of his friend. And without knowing more facts, we're not in a position to say whether the friend is a thoughtless and irresponsible idiot behaving in a foreign country as all his friends already know he behaves at home, or a deceitful and dangerous pervert that nobody in their right mind would want to touch with a bargepole ever again.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Agreed. But I suppose I am wrong in thinking that was taken as read. Its hard on this media, especially over a topic that people get very .....hot....about.
I thnk that was the tone of most of the posts though......that.....it depends.....and you just don't know until you know what the crime was and some are 'move on' able from and some are best to simply move away from.0
