Chocolate mousse = the Delia recipe has only two ingredients, chocolate and eggs. I make it with chocolate oranges, which works well as long as you get hold of the dark ones rather than the milk ones.

I make that too and it's very good, especially if fortified with a dash of sherry and topped with whipped cream.

I am seeing my body worker again today. Hopefully I'll feel three inches taller and really good after seeing her.

I've been pressing spam this morning but.....cannot keep up. While the spam is here temporarily I am not the boards worst poster. What's he on about?

Agreed. But I suppose I am wrong in thinking that was taken as read. Its hard on this media, especially over a topic that people get very .....hot....about.

I thnk that was the tone of most of the posts though......that.....it depends.....and you just don't know until you know what the crime was and some are 'move on' able from and some are best to simply move away from. :(

Not sure what you mean by "move on" able.

I think the tone of many of the NP posts about this is that thoughtless and irresponsible young idiots who do utterly indefensible things may, in time and after suffering the consequences of their thoughtlessness and irresponsibility, become upstanding members of the community, and are more likely to succeed in doing so if their friends do not all completely abandon them when they commit their utterly indefensible actions. Dangerous and deceitful perverts, sadly, almost never do, and remaining friends with one runs the risk of implying to other people that they are safe people, when they are not and never will be, and thus increasing the future risk to innocent parties.

    Do you disagree with that?
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

No, that's exactly what I mean too.
  • Cranachan is a safe bet on the pudding front.

Whipped cream, honey, whisky, oats and raspberries.

(no gluten in oats from memory)

Easy to make quickly as well.

    one of my favourite puddings.

I make a sort of candied oat crunchy bit sometimes too.

My sil eats oats so they are gluten free. ( when we went to a really lovely restaurant last year she had chocolate mouse with whiskey and oats....it was really good. There was something else too, cannot remember what.... But I think she had the best pudding on the table).

The problem with this is that I spend a lot of time trying to get the kids to understand that lotteries are a tax on those who are not good at maths and that the big winners are the exceptions who prove the rule etc...and then you go and find a lottery with a positive expected value which will no doubt make it very hard to explain that most lotteries are bad just not that one....

The Girl was messing about trying to predict the colour of the next Keno number to come out and was generally showing a bit too much interest in it. Then she came out with the dreaded, "Someone's got to win it". Arggh!

Luckily with Keno you can set your own jackpot and odds. So I chose biggest jackpot, no minor prizes. "We will definitely not win", I told her confidently. And we didn't.

If we had won then I would have been shown to be wrong but would at least have a million dollars to ease my pain.

Well he seems to have a fetish for this board at the moment. Maybe the BG's elsewhere are active.

Well two can play at that game, I've 'thanked' Browntoa's thread.

Me too. I have been known to send abusive emails to the kitchen company in the past too.
