As it is so late on in the day, the repairing garage cannot guarantee when the work will be completed, so in the meantime I have a hire car to use. My car will then be delivered back to original dealership sometime next week, where I drop off hire car. This has taken me the best part of 2 days to sort out and was only resolved when I complained to Mitsubishi UK. I am inclined to keep all receipts for expenses incurred through me not having use of my car. The aftersales has been truly appalling!!
well done for sticking at it, lets hope that you get what you deserve
your selling dealer sound a right shower for trying to shirk their responsibility good on you for sticking at it0 -

Good result, though its a shame you had to chase so much to get the service provided you should have in the first place.
Good to hear Mitsubishi UK got involved and poked the dealer. I'd an issue with a BMW some years ago and the dealer was dragging their heels. Rang BMW Customer Service and the following morning @ 09:00 I'd the Dealer Principal on the phone who had the problem sorted in 24hrs.
When you go to the expense of buying from a franchised dealer you dont expect to be treated as you have.0 -
I did have a massive rant at the General Manager and pointed out that i was well within my rights to reject the car and seek a refund. He told me I wasnt to which I mentioned the sales of goods act and a few other things. Why is it so hard to sort things out?? I did wonder if i had spent money on a new car they would all be falling over themselves to sort the problem out! Finally debt free and loving it!0

Once the car's sold you're a piece of !!!! (usually).
Well done, they try and bluff people, not all stand up for themselves like you
Also, I like your username - but at a quick glance I read it as something not as nice as shoes....0 -

I see the OP lives in Manchester yet bought the car in South Wales - 200 miles away.
This is yet another classic example of why people should not buy a car from so far away. I'm sure the OP is realising that now herself."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -

Stop making things up just to be all 'wholier than thou'. OP never said anything of the sort.0 -

?????????????????
The OP stated in Post #3 that she bought the car in South Wales. Her information states her location is Manchester.
That IS 200 miles.
What did I make up? Where was I 'holier than thou'?"There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0
