I was I Aldi today and they are dong see through toasters.

I was in the barn today and I found a toaster I'd forgotten we had. OK, it's maroon.....but if it makes toast....

Not sure I'd want a see through toaster but a well designed one would be nice. The one I bought matches the kitchen, which is great, but I burned myself on it this morning, because I'm used to one that doesn't get hot on the outside..... :(

Today feels as if it's going on and on, but that's only because I was in the Village Hall by 08.00, putting up the stage etc. By this time next week we'll be Panto-ed out for another year and, hopefully, looking at a big result for good causes. It's sold out, anyway. :D

The sheep are back :) and Mr Dog is having some drainage excavations done, right behind his house, so I'd guess the water got in the other week, when there was a bit of a flood down there.

Glorious here, but chilly. Bright blue sky with blinding white on the tops - stunning.

I have never owned a toaster - a toasting fork yes, but not a toaster. I use the grill.

Yesterday, a jolly run down to Granton -on-Spey who have quite a bit of snow.
Got a water tank off Gumtree, or will when we go back with the trailer to fetch it.
Plumber gone all silent. We need to know where to put the bases in for tank & boiler, but gone all elusive.....as plumbers do.

Hope relative is okay Lucielle & it's a good journey down.

Must've gone soft over winter as feel worn out and it's only half past six in the evening! :o

Faced with the choice of doing more tanking in the bathroom, or making a start on the garden, I chose the latter as it was a windless afternoon. :D It might almost look after itself in the early summer, but quite a bit of tidying is needed first to curb the excesses of last year's growth.

Is the tank position crucial, choille? As long as you get it 18" above floor level and obey the OFTEC guidelines as regards distances, it should be fine. I say 18" higher than floor, but some tell me that's on the generous side. I just did as I was told! :o
