Hope all goes well Choille and that you are feeling better after your fall.

Alfie I had forgotten that sensible rule that the animal charities have at this time of the year. Maybe your friend will have to wait until the new year?

Fuddle Welcome :j always nice to meet a new poster.

I'm in the North of England choille. I'm atop a hill before some dales. I have spent the last few years in Dorset so kind have been learning in warmer climes. I think I'm in for a shock.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. :)

  • Hi Fuddle. Nice to see you here.. We are a lovely bunch here

I bought some reduced rhueburb crowns today, so now at least I know what flavour they are . I had forgotten what my other ones were lol...

I really wish there would be a proper break in this weather so the garden can dry out a bit.. I am sooo itching to start prepping it lol

Greetings fuddle. CTC is right; we're a friendly bunch here... and only slightly unhinged. :D

We live all over the UK, from choille up in the Highlands, to alfie, (who's a laydee ;)) down near the South Coast/New Forest. If nothing else, this thread soon teaches that the weather throughout these small islands can be very different.

choille and Mr choille - I do hope that you are both OK and in Inverness.

I can report no snow; we go a frost on Sunday am, second only of the season. And just north of here it was white.

Cannot get near the plot as it has checked it down every weekend for over a month.

No gardening today as there's lying snow and it's dreich with fog.

However :D There's a pine of some sort in my inherited garden so I plan to adorn it with some old Christmas decorations when my children get home from school.

I'm a little bit unhinged meself Davesnave ;)
