im debating what to do today... I think if I venture OUT I will get caught up doing something for someone else again !! and im determined this weekend IS FOR ME....
I do need to get my wild bird feeds... and I feel like I need to be an undercover agent, use the back roads and wear dark glasses
I could paint my summer house
I could reassemble the huge antique chandelier ive been asked to sell for friend
I could start to make the roman blinds for the hall windows..
or I could have another cuppa and put my feet up..:D
but then id feel ive waaasted a day0 -

I was painting too.
Still the barn doors. DW was on the new front door. I was on cheapo undercoat. She was on Farrow and Ball.
In the morning, I had the impression from the brief weather forecast on Radio 4 that many areas were still shrouded in mist, but I was baking down there in temperatures over 20c again. In fact the paint was drying too fast for my liking.:(
Mr Dog gave me dogs all morning, so this afternoon I gave him chain saw and made enough free logs to last all week.
In between, Horse Woman gave everyone horse racing....:cool:The people who were renting next to her have just moved out after only 6 months. :rotfl:0 -
Dave I'm excited to see your new front door. Actually I'm excited to see the whole place!0

I'll put up pictures eventually. The kitchen could be soon, when the other oven is installed.
Everything else is still a work in progress to a greater or lesser degree. For example, the hallway is done, except for the rather obvious open section of wall, where 15 wires descend to the consumer unit!
We will be working on this place for another year yet. Indoors there is 'only' decoration and the small matter of installing 2 more bathrooms, but outside there's drains, roofing rendering and a conservatory....maybe.
We won't mention hard landscaping! It always is. :rotfl:0 -
