Daydream fund challenge part 4

The surgeon who happens to be Indian CTC is a locum brought in from the North of England to attempt to get the waiting list down in orthopedics in Inverness area. It has cost many thousands to do that. The whole team were scrubbed up & ready when it was cancelled because of an admin error - this is the fourth time OH op has been cancelled. It has wasted a great deal of time & energy.
The manager has been twice to the USA on cost cutting courses at a cost of £18,000 - I know how I would have saved £18,000+ It is a scandal & not about throwing more money into a leaky pot.0 -
My comments were said, by what I have been heari g in the news, and people saying that the NHS is collapsing due to lack of funding.. Apart from my blood tests with my local gp, and my step father , waiting for operations, and then they lose his records etc I have no first hand contact with the NHS,Work to live= not live to work0

Davesnave, Dw taking charge and pushing through a complaint system is really best solution.
I know, but it's those who don't have the skills we feel sorry for.
To be fair, there's plenty of evidence of flexibility in this county, and with basic stuff we're often able to choose where & when to some extent, which is a boon. Six day a week working is also here for the scarcer, expensive kit, like MRI scanners.
Anyway, dental treatment today, two fillings, x-ray and a bit of spit 'n polish...£58 on the NHS. Not bad!0 -
I have just sent a very irate email to Bluddy Telecoms....
my poor mum has sat in for two separate days waiting for her phone to be connected. 25th and then 30th..... she has a socket she just needs to be connected at exchange... no cancellations and both dates they sent reminders to me by email and text to "make sure you are in when engineer arrives "..........how bluddy hard can it be !!!!
apparently they are going to ring me tomorrow..... was that one of CTC's pigs that just did a fly past ?0 -

It's very quiet on here but I'm afraid I can't add much...I only have tomorrow and next week until I break up for 2 weeks but also leave my current teams. Soooooooo much to do!0

I was quiet today because we took the day off to visit Rosemoor, on what turned out to be one of the sunniest days we've had this year.
Our grandson, Sam, who's now 8.5 months old, likes gardens. He's already 'done' a few National Trust properties and an arboretum, but this was his first RHS visit.0 -

Crazy Scottish weather -
In the early hours of Thursday morning, the temperature in the village of Aviemore was close to freezing, with the mercury showing just 1C. But later in the day, it was was hotter than Barcelona, Rome and Paris at 21C.
I'm bringing delicate plants into the conservatory overnight, but it's baking in there by lunch!0 -
