well iv just had two policemen in my lounge
apparently they went to visit mr thug and they said he hung his head in shame and said he had over reacted ...
my son piped up "well he would to 2 coppers"...:o
but apparently the 2 p's said they saw the "wound" and well... didn't think it was a bite.
he has been warned for threatening behaviour and told to stay away from me.
hes also been warned as he threatened "criminal damage " [ CDT] with a weapon in front of his children social services could be informed...
I have been "warned" I may get a visit from the dog control people [this was said through giggles as said dog was rolling around with the cat ]...
gist is ive told them I don't want to hear or see him again.
I cant take the dogs to mums now when I go on holiday [only 2 oldens were going there, littlun goin to bosses] as she is going to be too worried and that's not fair to her.
good thing is the man is moving house soon... ive never seen them before but mum knows them and even gives kids easter eggs etc. I was cross he disrespected my mum... im old and ugly enuff to sort myself out ....
and breathe.....;)0 -
Gosh Alfie how awful! The whole thing about dogs being dangerous etc doesn't take into account people being ar$€holes around dogs. I've got a fear aggressive dog, the puppy of the pack, he is being socialised carefully, having been handed into rescue by people who made him so.
Haven't been your way for a week CTC, very weird what they're doing at the factory...makes no sense to fence like they have but doesn't mean they won't have to take it down after PP has been sought, even though it looks ridiculous, total overkill.
I am all over the place ATM.. Hubby has been home about 10 days, so the big clean up and sort out was upon me. Since he's been here it's been non stop. We ripped out the remainder of the kitchen last weekend, Then Builders have been here most of last week destroying kitchen walls, and putting right some mega bodge jobs.
plumber and electrician have done a bit, electrician is due to return tomorrow to sort extremely dodgy wiring before plastering. The door fitting man did not come as promised, so we have a hole where the window used to be, boarded up for now. Our current "kitchen" consists of one old unit in the living room plus worktop with a microwave, kettle and toaster on top, tea bags, beer and wine underneath!
We've had a few more lambs plus a litter of piggles this week, DH managed the farrowing entirely unsupervised yesterday because I was out.
I'm at the smallholder show this weekend...I was going to cancel given all that's been happening but in the end I went for it. My stand is not as polished as I'd like it to be, but given the circumstances it'll do. It was a surprisingly quiet day today, but the organisers have moved everyone round a lot and it feels very disjointed...I couldn't even find my usual catering establishment for lunch. I don't think I'll be doing this show again, having spoken to traders in all areas no one has made a lot of money, some not even covering costs so far...farmers are such tight asses, they won't part with their money easily!
Well I'm on bed time duties then off to bed myself, early start to get to the show, and a late finish breaking it all back down, deep joy!0 -
I'm trying to imagine him biting someone. The idea makes me snort tbh.
He's full of beans but he is NOT aggressive. Scratches can be caused from absolutely no ill intent whatsoeverand yes, he shouldn't jump up, but don't we all react in ways we shouldn't under excitement or provocation sometimes. I know I am not perfect. I hate this world where people expect others including animals to be perfect robots to their indulgence.
Edit: I think the man deserves some credit for backing down though. Its easy to get hyped up and refuse to back down. Good for him for accepting encouragement to step back down and relent.0 -

Fk... Will see you tomorrow.
I am suprised you say about farmers not spending at this show, as we found the royal welsh spring, main show and winter show is where the farmers take their wives, and they spend... Last year we found even though we sold less, we sold more of the expensive welsh blankets...are you still doing the craft stuff???..I think they are just being more savvy with their money..
Is the eco stuff in the wooden building where they normally have the dancers??? We were in there the first year we done it...
Well done on the litter what crosses are they? How many? We put ours out today.. And within 2 minutes they were like little mingggers with dirty snouts and mud patches all over them...lol..Work to live= not live to work0 -

Hear hear :T
Our very bouncy Australian Labradoodle (or tres expensive mutt, lol!) once leaped up at one of our neighbours who had bent down to greet him. She insisted he had bitten her - he was only a baby then and didn't know any better than to jump up (now he has no excuse) - when in actual fact the most damage done was a scratch with a claw or a playful nuzzle. From that day on she - albeit nicely - avoided him and made veiled references to him being aggressive, when he's the kind of dog that would lick an intruder to death, lol :rotfl:
The other day we met a lovely lady walking a very sedate looking toy poodle off lead in the park. I was about to make excuses for our two beasts - who we are keeping on lead in their new, slightly more urban environment till they get used to the roads/increased numbers of other dogs - but before I said a word, she warned me that her sweet little (female dog) was actually a *thug* who would most likely terrorise our larger pair......I found this admission quite refreshing as most people seem to think their dogs are perfect, when IRL many are free spirits that mean no harm, same as us
Agree with your point about the bloke too LIR - let's hope his initial reaction won't have had a detrimental effect on his child's attitude to dogs in general.....Mortgage-free for fourteen years!

Morning all,
Having a nice cuppa and a crusty roll that has started to go soft lol..before I get hubby out of bed.. Its going to be a bit wired going to the show, and not have to worry about rushing back to man a stall. But really looking forward to it, think we need this day out
Hubby shocked me last night big time lol... An advert for the Chelsea flower show came on TV.. ( advertising the TV show of it) and he said pity that is prob too expensive to get in, as I would like to go there:eek::eek::eek:.Work to live= not live to work0 -
morning all..
