Sunny but a cool breeze here today. Left wrist really sore when I woke up this morning (my rheumatoid arthritis). Think it was the way I was sleeping on it. Popped an anti-inflammatory with the other 8 pills I take first thing and it has eased off considerably!

This morning every time I have popped out the back door I have devoted 5 minutes to clearing the debris from the top of some of my pots. My plan is to make up a bucket full of compost and blood, fish and bone and give them all a bit of a top dressing. Hopefully that will give the permanent stuff a bit of a boost when they start springing into life.

Alf - Great ad - hope it is successful.

LIR - rest up & keep warm.

Azza - they are selling ankle, knee & wrist braces in LIDL - OH has the ankle ones & they really help - he keeps his on in bed - too much info, but if he doesn't he hurts when rolling over.....

    It's panto time soon!!!
It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

Thanks Choille. I have a proper rigid night time support the physio made for me following my last wrist op 10 months ago. I am going to dig it out and wear it for a while. I see the Prof who has done all my ops on Friday but still expecting to be 'signed off' so to speak. My wrist only aches sometimes rather than before my 3 ops when it was all the time.

Sorry, Azza - sounds that you have the right stuff though. Goodness, must be frustrating when it's your wrist. Any joint is a problem if it hurts though.

Fortunately I am right handed and it is amazing how you adapt to a weakness. Opening jars and bottles of bleach are the main problem but OH makes sure he loosens anything I need before he goes away on his trips.
