I try not to bring my profession into my personal life, but sometimes you can't help it0

CTC - Time to be pro-active.
Jiggered = thought we could move a boulder that has worked it's way up to the surface on the track, just in & feel beggered. Crow bar & sliding wee stones underneath it has lifted it but the dark coming thwarted us. Gee my back is killing me. Beautiful day & got some bulbs in that I kinda liberated from behind a shop.......................0 -
Little bit early to be breaking winter dormancy, but I thought it was better to get these out of their thimble sized Ikea pots...0

Back from heathrow..... easy drive for a change!! I used my new driving glasses and can thoroughly recomend the new anti glare lenses.. means you look like a wasp with the yellow lenses :rotfl:but my word they work. Diffuses all the oncoming glare from headlights.... I've run a bath then I'm hitting my bed.0

CTC I agree with the sentiment that you should contact your local councillor and, where there has been damage to your property, get photos and put a claim in, via Moneyclaim if the owners ignore a direct approach, which you should make first:

No point in wasting too much energy or any serious money.
The only other thing I'd say is that these people are acting as a 'new broom,' doing things they don't have to do. In a best case scenario this might mean total re-landscaping of the site.
However, usually best cases are done with a wildlife assessment first, so I too am sceptical that they are working towards the good of the area.
But even if they subsequently get into trouble for their cavalier approach, it won't benefit you directly.0 -
A beautiful day today. Lovely drive home from Fife late morning with glorious sunshine. Love the 3 bridges when the sun is shining on them. Motivated me to spend a couple of hours in the garden this afternoon. Just general tidying up and one clematis pruned.0

I have spoken - found a beautiful purple iris flowering in one of my back borders. Didn't plant it there but a lovely surprise! My Katharine Hodgkin iris are just peeping out of the soil. However, I do have a couple of daffodils in the shelter of the house which I think will open within the next couple of days. Just love Spring colour.0
