hi all.... well the wind was strong last night here ;) :rotfl:but nothing like "up norf"... it was a balmy 12d today !! i took mum for her blood tests, visited dad, stocked up on dog food, went to the tip, fetched a lady from the train station, dropped her off then came home :p ive just topped up my hair ;) as i noticed in a mirror i resembled a badger  i cant be arsed to cook now so i opened an extremely large [chrissy pressy] box of chocs :o only to be met by some obscure feats of culinary yukiness... :( flavours and contents obviously been concocted by some dillusioned chef who probably had a shiitier 2014 than all of us put together ........
  • so there were loads of 'yukky' ones then Alfie?? ( it would be the coffee or praline, dark chocolate for me)

loads of house without power in Scotland.. and some serious damage too..

It was a balmy 16c in Exeter today. That's warmer than it was in Barcelona!

It was still 12c here when I returned from Panto rehearsal at 21.30.

While it's been very windy, it's been much worse since nightfall, though continuous rather than gusts. Sitting here, it sounds exactly like being on a fast train.

Not much to report except the building inspector said we can do what we want to do, no problem. Amazing! :D
