Nobody seems to be logging chook food yet.... except me. I tell them every morning, we need more output for the amount they're scoffing! This past week or so they seem to be listening, but perhaps the mild weather has fooled them.
I noticed opening leaves on some small hawthorns in a sheltered place today.
Other laws are changing soon. If you've relied on 'Grandfather Rights' for purchasing professional weedkillers etc, that all comes to an end in November. Maybe that will result in more training courses, but as you say lir, people will break the law. Pete has a friend......
Speaking of Grandfathers....no sign of this baby yet. We have advised potential Mum to do what we did very effectively when she was almost 10 days late.....very hot chilli con carne! :rotfl:0 -

I agree LIR, but the ear tagging thing was brought in before all the horse meat scandal & the costs involved to the wee guys such as myself is considerable. You had to buy a new machine, new tags, new logging of your details etc, but I still believe that horse meat & other stuff still gets through into the system - not that eating horse meat would bother me, but I do like to know where my food comes from hence why I am a crofter.0

Barf here means to vomit Alfie. As in the noise that is made when doing so especially after too much home brew....not that I would know if there is any truth in the origins of such lingistics....0

I always thought good sex was the best instigator from what I heard.

My parents took me for a drive around all the lumpiest cobble roads we could find round here... There were some very lumpy ones down along the dock road back then, but they been smoothed off since. Just another suggestion for you!0 -
