papadave....... tell her to get digging
:rotfl:
I'm sure she has been, with that 120' garden, though mostly it's been a mad rush to put the house right before the nipper arrives, not that it'll care tuppence.
They had good central heating from the outset, but they tore out the kitchen and bathroom (and the bathroom floor!) before even moving in....and then the baby indications came along....:rotfl:
Still, maybe they're more comfortable than me tonight, as there's a bit of a blow coming in here from the utility room, which only has some rubbishy plywood over the door and window opening!0 -
The last hour has seen the wind and rain really pick-up with me, I expect it's getting cheeky further north of Glasgow.
Just putting the bins out meant a drenching...:(0 -
.......a tad cheeky....0

Other laws are changing soon. If you've relied on 'Grandfather Rights' for purchasing professional weedkillers etc, that all comes to an end in November. Maybe that will result in more training courses, but as you say lir, people will break the law. Pete has a friend......
We've been dithering over a sprayer course for ages. Tbh, the time has been coming for years now. At least that will be the kick we need to do it I guess.0 -

I look back this year and think......that two years with no back door was one of the real kickers here. We still have a bit of a draft with the back door on tbh, as the door between utility / kitchen has 70mm floor allowance and the utility room back door has no draught seal, but A DOOR, omg, a DOOR. Its such a luxury.0 -

It gets more desperate than that?
Yes, I know it does sadly.
At least he seems very well fed, and its amazing that he's said to be sweet natured. I cannot help thinking two young male terriers would be a nightmare for me, and I Know from local rescues that staffs/types are so numerous rehoming is hard.0 -
