Hello :waves: can I join please ??
  • Durn it. Had an unexpected and considerably costly expenditure today so I am back to zero in my emergency fund. I guess that's what the money is there for though, so it came in very handy. Will have to start over again now though.

  • Hi All
Just added £10 to my total but guess what! my lovely OH was blinded by the sun and scraped our car against a parked car so what I have managed to save will have to go towards the excess:( grateful no one was hurt.
I'm going to leave the money where it is for the moment in case by some miracle I am able to get the money from somewhere else!!
    xx

Congrats on the new baby stilton. My niece will sympathise with you over juggling a new-born and a toddler. She has a 3-year old and is expecting twins in July!!.

Anway, welcome to our newest member, Jon81, who is #88.

On the job front, morning interview lead to job offer, afternoon interview (with recruiter) is also looking very hopefull.

Due to the timescale, i may well have to accept job #1, then when job #2 is sorted, hand my notice in and move across.

When I first met my job coach, i told him that based on the fact each time I found myself out of work, the period of unemployment got shorter, so I expected to be back in 3 months or so. He laughed at me and wished me luck.

Looks like I'm the one having the last laugh here.

  • Great news on the job front Patman. Good luck to your niece...not sure I could deal with toddler and twins haha. One newborn is challenging enough with an energetic 16 month old tearing around, let alone havving 2 of them!
