Two cheques have just cleared meaning I can add £180 to my EF. The money was for some casual work delivering leaflets in June and £50 cashout from a survey site. The survey money took about a year to reach the cashout level, I nearly lost the will to live doing so many surveys:eek: but worth it in the end:j.
EF now stands at a healthy £830:j. I'm ecstatic as it's such hard work finding any extra to save. I'm making a real effort to save every penny extra I make from surveys, selling stuff, casual work, cashback, and anything else I can think of. In the past I looked on this extra money as a bit of help with the monthly budget as I'd overcommitted on the amount I was paying on my DMP to get rid of it as soon as possible:o. It was making even a frugal life a real struggle so I've negotiated a slightly lower monthly payment towards my debts. It will only extend the term of my DMP by about 6 months so not too drastic. Life seems a lot better now:j0 -
