On a positive Ive managed to keep the £35 in my EF - nothing to add to it i'm afraid atm.
Hopefully in the New Year I can make it grow with a much more fast and focused approach
Well done everyone!0 -
Having had to reinstall Windows again after trying to set my PC up to dual Boot (which I have now managed to do). I had to put all my programs back on including YNAB.
Luckily, I had saved my YNAB accounts to my Dropbox folder so this saved a lot of info.
Anyway, spent this afternoon listerning to Kieth Greentree's Country music show and John Leach's Soul train (I actually thought MrsP was listerning to themm, but she was asleep on the sofa) whilst bringing YNAB up to date (well, my main account anyway) so now have a better financial record.
Accessed my 2nd saver account and found that I have way more in there than I first thought, so am pleased with that.Never Knowingly Understood.

Having brought YNAB up to date, I have realised that I have over-paid my service charge for the flat ny £105. This is not an issue as they will take it of next years bill.
2 days to pay day. Not got any unexpected bills, so might be able to boost 2nd ef a bit.Never Knowingly Understood.

I have 1300 in my emergency fund but that is for the car insurance. I am paying for mine and Mum's. Last year I paid out 1100 pounds. I think I am not good at searching for a good deal! so will have a search soon.
I am now aiming for 2000 in the fund..............as i am seriously contemplating quitting my job and that would be a month's expenses.
thanks for this thread, without it being here reminding me I wouldn't have it!
