Abba that's such good advice :T
We had a good talk with him and it turns out he's too embarrassed to use his phone in front of friends (flip open old style phone, just makes calls, not fancy like most phones nowadays) and said if he wants, for his birthday we will get him an android phone (not top of the range).
He thought about it for a while and then came back and said he'd stick with his current phone as he only needs it to make calls and he'd prefer the sky+ box for his room for his birthday we originally suggested to him last month :rotfl:
I guess he's not a bad kid really, I know he'll end up sharing the sky+ with his siblingsHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

They also wanted 4 grand for flooring and carpets
Cor Blimey!!£4k for carpets what are they made out of?????? Silk lol xx
Or Gold :eek:We should hear back from the broker by tomorrow about our mortgage offer, it's still with the underwriter at the moment
Finger's crossed for you :TApparently DS wants an iPhone for his birthday.
Hopefully not the new iphone6, some of the others can be got via TCB and get pretty good deals. Got my DS an iphone5c (it's the budget version of the iphone5s) for the budget I had in mind, last year, so it wasn't too bad. You have got alot of costings going on at the moment though.
So many posts to answer, you are on a roll today dipdap lol.

Hey DB, I prefer the kitty picture
Off out in a bit to see the developer, need distracting today otherwise I'll end up pacing waiting for a phone call from the broker to update on our mortgage offer progress.
Original deadline for exchange is tomorrow, can't see it all be done by then.Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Heard back from the bank today, everything seems to have come back from the under writers ok :j
Now just waiting for the survey to be completed.
Think we're nearly at the end of this stage (I think it's going to be next week before we hear anything again now).Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Hey DB, I prefer the kitty picture
Had to take the kitty pic down last week, my own real life kitty passed away, so it was sad. I didn't think anyone would notice but your attention to detail is awesome dipdap.
I actually missed the kitty pic too so I'm glad you encouraged me to put it back upHeard back from the bank today, everything seems to have come back from the under writers
Hooray - full speed ahead :TThink we're nearly at the end of this stage (I think it's going to be next week before we hear anything again now)
Keep us updated, we are all behind you, hoping and praying it will all go through quickly and hiccup free

Sorry for your loss DB, hopefully he or she had some good innings.
Noddle report updated this morning. DH now shows as 5/5 (I know the numbers mean diddly but it's still nice seeing it at maximum). Mines still 3/5  but that's because the credit card debt is all on my cards now (all 0% bt) and I have a loan, where as DH only has a loan to his name now.
I'm hoping to clear this credit card (debt 4/8) by the end of March (the one behind it in the queue only has £800 on it so should clear quickly too :j )Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Forgot to do this last month
Total amount outstanding as of the end of last January
£9,776 loan 1
£5,100 loan 2
£2,624 CC 1
£890 CC 2
£3,500 CC 3
Total outstanding £21,890
It's getting there, wil be a big confidence boost when it goes under £20k :j
No individual debt is over £10k :j small milestone :rotfl: but it's good to find the positives :jHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Shopping done for the week :j
Sorted out meal plan. For some reason I have 9 days on it (at least that way I have a couple of days spare for awkward people!)
Sunday dinner
Spag Bol
Sausage, egg, chips
Fish & chips
Curry
Pie & mash
Chicken & chips
Sweet & sour chicken
Beans on toast (last resort emergency meal!)
Must remember to factor in pancakes at some point or the kids will moan (need to remember when shrove Tuesday is first!)Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Debts below £20k (nearly there!)
[STRIKE]List options for house (still budget of £2-3k)[/STRIKE] total came to £2,836, so was between the £2-3k we expected
Close one of my credit cards (may be wishful thinking, all 3 still have balances to clear)
