    Morning diary :)
Hey DB :) I'm just getting to grips with the works spreadsheet on the laptop, I have a maths brain but trying to get the formulas to do what I want is giving me a headache.
I'm a stubborn person though and will sit the for hours until I work it our for myself (DH is itching to help me!) but it will give me a sense of achievement when it finally comes together and I've done it all on my own :D
I think I managed to miscalculate a day somewhere, it's only 8 days to go now :j (need to get to the 3rd) not sure how I managed to get that wrong but it's one day less than I thought :j
    Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
    Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
    Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

    Hi clearmydebts :)
Why is it when we have money it's really easy to not spend it and when we don't it's soooo difficult!
Was a bit naughty today (and it's not even lunch time), found some reduced selection boxes for the kids with 7 choccy bars for 50p :o Now I'm home I'm going to put all the bars in a tin and give them out new at a time as a treat :)
That's if I don't eat half of them myself before hand :rotfl:

I hear you! I am trying not to spend but it's so hard. The temptation is there all the time, particularly at weekends!

    Morning diary :)
Surveyor came yesterday so that's now all done and dusted, just got to sit and wait for his result.
Solicitors seem to have lost our fensa and heating servicing documents  so been stressing about that too.
Been a bit naughty and fuel and shopping recently went on the credit card :o billing cycle runs in a few days for that so will be paying everything I've put on it back off again as soon as the bill comes in.
Need to sit down and work out my money till next pay day.

    Afternoon diary :)
I need to get out the house!
Am debating going to visit some show homes (doesn't cost money :D) or going shopping (costs money but I love retail therapy!)
Reluctant to do the show home thing as if we go out we probably won't be able to park the car when we get back
I need to find something mse to do with my time! :money:

Go for a walk? Costs nothing and gets a bit of exercise in - and no need to worry about the parking space! ;)

    Hey Hun :)
I would do but it's so dreary around here, I think I'm just getting wound up by DH lack of any ideas (I wanted to go out a couple of hours ago but he's not exactly shown any enthusiasm towards going out the door)
Maybe a walk in the fresh air would do me some good (and kick me up the bum to do housework!)

    Well I half failed :o
We went out to look at houses in the end, saw a really nice style floor I'd like for my kitchen :j
Swung by the supermarket on the way home and spent just over a tenner on dinner :(
So although the looking at houses didn't cost anything the shopping did :(
Could have been so much worse though :o at least we managed to park when we got back :rotfl:

    Hello diary :)
Well I didn't make it to the 3rd without using my overdraft :( ended up dipping into it yesterday by about £70 (forgot car tax DD ) but am back out of it again today :j
I'm trying to get it to only being in my overdraft for half of the days of the month, I know we have to use it and paying fees on it doesn't bother me too much, I just like a challenge :D
We should be exchanging contracts this month :j with move expected to be in the summer, gives us a few more months of debt busting so we can start debt free (except new mortgage) in our new house and have some spare pennies to buy the few things we'll need to make our house a home :j
