Hi DB, thanx
here's hoping everything goes to plan :j
Looks like we need to batter those debts down as much as we can as we've sold our house for a couple of k less than we'd ideally have liked
Everything's still fine, just waiting for our credit check to clear.
Think I'm going to resort to meal plans and see if I can work out a way of doing envelopes without taking the money out of the bank (seems daft to pay extra fees on my overdraft)

Hello diary
Thanx for stopping by Abbathe pic didn't even make it into the estate agents window as we sold so quick :rotfl:
We put our deposit down on our new house on Saturday, only problem now is we need to exchange in 28 days. I'm a nervous wreck already.
Need to find £300 for solicitors deposit today (will probably have to temporarily go deeper into my overdraft for that)

Good morning diary
Well it's the weekend again, means I finally have time to sit down and assess our finances.
DH overtime has now stopped  but he thinks it may start up again pretty soon (fingers crossed)
Looks like it's beans on toast for dinner for the next few weeks :rotfl:

Hello diary
I need to get a grip on our spendingwe've had to shell out over a grand in the last week on fees  everyone seems to want something upfront
Better work out how much we have till paydayHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

So I grabbed a calculator to work out how much cash we have left.
If I take into account all bills, clubs, ciggys and any pending payments (the valuation fee hasn't been taken from our account yet).
We have £364 to get us through till payday.
That money needs to pay for fuel, groceries and any other things I've managed to forget
It will easily last us but I want as much of it left over to pay towards the credit card.
Looks like it's back to the beans on toastHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Just realised something. Payday is a week on Monday :j
Need to set a target of having at least £200 left on payday to throw at one of the credit cards :j
It should be easily done provided we have no nasty surprises.
Anything over that will be a bonus :jHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

I need to set myself some new targets
I did quite well on the ones I set at the top of this page.
Probably should have finished the last few but seem to have got lazy recently
Will write a new list and then better get to bed for the night.Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

New page, new targets :j
Get debt below £20,000 (this one could take a bit longer than I anticipated as we keep having to find money up front for various mortgage fees)
Close one of my credit card accounts (I have 3 )
