It could turn out to be a costly mistake by RPM if they do.

I dont think the couriers they use would be too happy if RPM was to use them as an excuse.

Especially if someone was to point them in the direction of the MSE website

I emailed them and this is the reply:

We understand that you have been unhappy that due to the excess demand for pitchers, we were unable to send you one. The application form did state that pitchers were available while stocks last and it’s only due to the extreme level of demand that stocks ran out and have now been exhausted.

Be assured that the offer was made in good faith and to endeavor to illustrate this, please email back your full name and address to [EMAIL="grandmarnier@rpmltd.com"]grandmarnier@rpmltd.com[/EMAIL]. Once we have received this, we will send you a pitcher within 10 working days from the small number of pitchers we have retained at our main offices (Please note we have to check the applicant list to ensure you were an original applicant).

We trust that this action will address your complaint

I think this may be 1000's! Maybe there is somehwere where we can do a post count to check the exact number.

I also dislike the suggestion that I am not an original applicant too! My "standard" email was addressed "Dear...." not even a name!

Methinks they will try and make an excuse not to send these or their faulty batch? I replied back to the email asking for them to have the courtesy to actually reply to me email personally, and that I didnt fancy buying any more Grand Marnier if I got an unsatisfactory outcome. Perhaps their (lack of) profits might make them think twice before U-turning on an offer!

Morning all
I applied for the pitcher, never received it, emailed GM to see where it was and never got a reply. I then got the 'Sorry but you didn't qualify' email, so I've replied yesterday basically saying the same as Mark_Hastings. GM should at least have the decency to reply to emails, surely its only common courtesy?? I got the 'out of office' reply for Nick - he's going to have a lot to do when he gets back from his holidays!!! I don't think this situation is going to do them much good in the long run. I personally have never even tried GM but would I buy any now - would I hell!!

To be fair the chap at GM was really nice and apologised the whole time I was on the phone and said if they had them they would send them out themselves, its more RPMs fault, as a promotional agency they should know how to handle things correctly and the whole thing should of never been allowed to happen in the first place.

i sent an email to nick who delt with my first angry email and he sent me a pitcher out but guess what it was broken to the point of being unusable

so i sent an angry email back to this nick bloke and he sent an automatic email out telling me to email his college Jemma so i did i also phoned them up but no one in the office knows whats going so i left messages on three peoples answer phone and got nothing back i left it for 4 days to give them time then i sent a snotty email back to the Jemma lady complaining and she has sent me an email saying she will be sending me one out in the post so i replied saying pls make sure the package is labeled fragile and glass as thats why it was broken last time as my broken pitcher arrived at the same time as my babycham glasses and they were glass and fragile and they weren't broken

will let you know if i receive it
if not they will receive a very irate and snotty email from me again and i will phone the offices again
