my pitcher also arrived through the normal royal mail post so if their using a courier id love to know who as my post knocked on my door and handed me mine

i think we shud all keep emailing and phoning as this is their fault not ours and if you received a broken one keep the broken one take photos and attach them to every email you sent making sure their in jpg format so that you have proof i even took a photo of mine as it arrived so it showed it was broken in the box which it came in and it wasn't packed that well it had a little bit of bubble wrap round it and when i say little i mean like 3" round the bottom of the pitcher not nearly enough to make sure it would stay intact during transit.
  • I got a you did not qualify email as well. Taking the micky!
    LuV_oR_h8_Me :p
  • How many lies have we been told? That this was a competition, that they used couriers, receiving a message on screen saying the pitcher is on its way... I don't think GM would be too pleased to know how this company is drragging GM's name through the mud...
  • I think it would be interesting to see how many MSE members get their pitchers (& how many arrive unbroken) from this 'small number' they have available in their main office. Seems to me that if they can supply all of the complainees, that's another reason why they shouldn't have sent the "you were not successful" e-mails. They need to update their marketing skills pronto - when people take on such firms, they do so to improve their reputation & sales, not worsen them. :D
  • Agreed!!!
I was looking forward to this one for weeks. Applied as soon as it appeared on MSE forum, still not to recieve. Cheek!

I applied 2 days before it was posted on here and I did'nt get one either, apart from the ones they sent out to people who complained first I think they must of just given the rest out randomly. Seems unfair. Well done to everyone that got one though :T (well an intact one anyway :D)
Did you know you can get Viagra software now??? Yeah, it turns your floppy drive into a hard drive :D

    Jemma.
Thank you for your speedy response, I do however take your explanation with a pinch of salt, this due to the fact I am an active member of an internet forum closely watching the outcome of this fiasco and fully expected to receive both the "sorry" email, and this cut and paste response. I suspect that your company is playing fast and loose with it's prospective clientelle and many will not be wise to just exactly what is going on, please don't count me in that number and send the item packaged in such a way that it it sustains damage in transit.
    My details are as follows:
I await the delivery of an intact pitcher.
    Thank you

Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.

Together we can make a difference.
  • Did they really say "while stocks last". I dont remember seeing that anywhere.....

Have any of the 'rejects' received one of 'the small reserve' yet?
  • I don't remember anything about "while stocks last" either. I don't recall it on the page asking for the e-mail addresses, & it definitely didn't show up on the page that told us the pitcher is on its way. In fact, that page content wouldn't have been appropriate anyway if it was dependant on the stock being available. I think they're saying that because, if it had appeared, it would have been somewhere earlier in the page rather than at/near the end (where it also should have been), & no-one's likely to have a screenshot of the earlier pages to prove the point.

Jemma hasn't replied to my e-mail where I comment on what action I'll take if I receive a damaged/broken one, which makes me think they're highly fed up with the GM campaign now, & just want it all over & done with asap before anyone puts in a complaint direct to GM. Either that, or she's too busy in the warehouse wrapping every pitcher in miles of bubble-wrap. :D
  • Hello

I am very disappointed with this i also recieved a sorry you did qualify for a pitcher email, If i remember when i gave the 5 emails to qualify i am sure that it said your pitcher is on its way. I feel cheated that that we gave them the info and we got nothing.

I was looking forward to this, I suppose there is nothing we can do??

    Cheers
