Hello everyone!!!
Checking in with a definite SFD to start the month! I am not a great swimmer so I am glad this part of the challenge comes first!
Went last night and got required ketchup and sugar from the local shop. As it is more expensive being a supermarket local, I got own brand and offer stuff, so a bag of sugar and a bottle of ketchup came to £1.79. They should last the month out though!
Abundant that is FABULOUS news, well done you!!!I am sure you can get very creative with your cooking this month. Rice is very useful
moohound I hope you are feeling a bit better. I read the pleurisy comments with horror. I am lucky to have never been afflicted but I know that it is one of the worst pains around... Hugs!
£300 across to the regular saver this morning takes me to £3000.00 in there! :j and although my sister owes me £27 for mini-me's xmas pressie & I have yet to be reimbursed my £40 Osteopath expenses, I still have over £900 in the other accountAltogether it will earn me about £16 this month in interest including my Mr H £5 bonus
Home sick from work and not planning on moving from my bedski. ot been off sick since a day in March so I think I am allowed. Have ramped up the vitamins though
See you later guys!! Feeling positive for this challenge this month!!

Done the maths and the budgets for the month, looking good so far, if I follow it to the letter I should be able to save at least another £100 before the end of the month, I wish I was brave enough to put it in now so I can't spend it.
Things I have budgeted for:-
Short man needs some shoes before we go caravanning at half term, and he ruined his wellies last time we went by running into the North Sea fully clothed (he has a habit doing of this….), but I have enough in Sainsbugs points to pay for the wellies at £8.
Shoes from camping/outdoors shop are usually £15 to £20 so not too bad.
£28 pitch fees for caravan - I pay this, OH pays for fuel, usually works out about the same. - only going if I am better though
£75 Caravan storage for 6 months, this is due in October.
£25 for Diesel - will definitely be less though.
The tooth fairy will likely cost me £6, three teeth at £2 each.
Moohound Hound needs his nails cutting £5 for the vet nurse to do it.
DH birthday £35 to cover gift and card.
It really helps to write it all down.ISA £1675MiniMoohound savings £3685.86 :T Plus £3800 CTF

I need to finalise my car insurance this week. Has anyone noticed a rise in prices?
My renewal quote is £152 and the cheapest quote using comparison sites (moneysupermarket, compare the market, go compare, AA etc all checked) so far is £144 - making no difference if I add my OH onto the policy or not. Last year I got the car insured for around£80!! so not delighted with the prospect of it now being £144. No changes in my circumstances and its the same car as last year.0 -

Am feeling pleased today... Looked at my bank balance... £75.42... to last me the month! Why am I pleased? Well... the £675.00 that went out my account this morning was the LAST payment to my DMP!!! As soon as that payment clears, it's GONE! I still have one active credit (I'm going to say it has £500 on as I will have to use it for fuel and gym this month) so not totally debt free until end of October. Still... losing that DMP that has been round my neck for years feels great
I did a <naughty> bulk buy a few days back, so cupboards are well stocked. I was good - in that I looked on mysupermarket... found where the bargains were, and shopped for them. I did get a strange look buying 25 bags of Tilda microwave rice (only 79p each at the mo in Tescos!!!) mind lol. So, my food budget looks awful... and I have about £10 per week left for food and spends  I'm going to have to get creative <again!>
Anyway... good luck everyone!!! Let's kick some !!!!!!
A BIG well done to you :T :T :T:A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:0 -

Going out 40
Hair 20

Thanks everyone for your kind words! It means a lot...
Made it to the gym after a month long absence... Injured my arm and wasn't going to go... but decided I was using that as an excuse to not do anything, and eat badly...
So - hauled my !!! over there and it's done. 1/12 gym sessions in the bag. I can still do cardio and legwork, which is better than nothing.
