Hello everyone, here's to a great month. Love the SWIM challenge. I will take a note of my millage today and yes I can cut down on my driving and walk more in my local town.
NSD today for me planned. It's my BILs birthday today so i will be at my sisters house tonight handing over his gift and card. Other than that a quiet night for me after work.0 -

Morning everyone... and Happy 01st October!!!
Am feeling pleased today... Looked at my bank balance... £75.42... to last me the month! Why am I pleased? Well... the £675.00 that went out my account this morning was the LAST payment to my DMP!!! As soon as that payment clears, it's GONE! I still have one active credit (I'm going to say it has £500 on as I will have to use it for fuel and gym this month) so not totally debt free until end of October. Still... losing that DMP that has been round my neck for years feels great
I did a <naughty> bulk buy a few days back, so cupboards are well stocked. I was good - in that I looked on mysupermarket... found where the bargains were, and shopped for them. I did get a strange look buying 25 bags of Tilda microwave rice (only 79p each at the mo in Tescos!!!) mind lol. So, my food budget looks awful... and I have about £10 per week left for food and spends  I'm going to have to get creative <again!>
Anyway... good luck everyone!!! Let's kick some !!!!!!

Poorly with chest so not going out the door, so a NSD for me today.
Stashed £350 in the ISA for October
Will sort the short mans clothes/shoes out for charity if I feel up to it later on, I bought him a winter coat last month and now I can't find it, he has far too much stuff will rein that in drastically from now on.
He has 3 wobbly teeth so the tooth fairy might cost me a bit this month, another one dropped out a couple of days ago but DH paid for that one.
I have half a tank of diesel left from left month so won't need much this month.
Going to give extra to the food bank instead of buying Christmas cards, I hate writing them and I hate spending money on stuff that goes in the bin.
I will encourage my mum not to buy a tin of Roses/Celebrations/Heroes/Quality Street every time she goes in a shop just because its Christmas and they are 'on offer', four tins last year and she doesn't even eat them.
Good luck every one
