Good morning Turtles and Happy Day 2!!

As you can see still full of motivation. Well done on last payments, SFDs etc. Hope the ones with colds and worse feel better soon. In work they're dropping like flies with some strange lurgy that floors you instantly. Hope it stays away from me.

Yesterday remained a SFD but today was a spend day. Kids were up early today so took them to Tesco at half 6 while hubby was still sleeping as usual. Spend £43 on food (for lunch boxes and freezer meals) and £10 on household incl nappies etc. Got some multi buy deals for stuff I wanted to buy anyway and money off coupons for my next shop. Usually only buy stuff in Tesco now that I know is not cheaper somewhere else.

Hubby plays football tonight so hope to get some freezer meals done. Want to do the usual bolognese/chilli thing and try a new one, honey and lemon chicken. Yesterday's lamb tagine that hubby made yielded another 3 portions for 2 for the freezer.

    Have a nice day

    TL

P.S. Got a question. Has any one of you married recently and changed their name. How do I go about that. Do I just send copies of my marriage certificate to the energy supplier, bank, employer etc? Found the info on the internet very confusing. Thanks

Hi everyone, working at home today :D Slightly peeved. I have a balance transfer due to run out soon. I telephoned Halifax to transfer it over to them, but it didn't go through. They claim their system has the format of my address different from the format of the way virgin has it so that's the problem. This makes no sense, as that was the card I transferred over to them before. They say as I'm not registered for telephone banking, they cannot change it-I have to go into a branch. All of this makes no sense what so ever, so I'll leave it foe now, as I don't have time to go into a branch  Well another spend free day today. Did a bit of exercise this morning and do feel a bit better for it. This weekend I'm going to go on a huge declutter frenzy, lol. Take care everyone and keep going :T

Apologies for my non-posting last night. Fell asleep on the sofa and then woken up to go to bed so wasn't really fit to post anything sensible.

On the plus side... spend free day yesterday. So number 1 achieved.
    :j

Will see how budgetting goes... I have all my fingers crossed.
    :o

Need to update my sig as I am a bit behind due to work. Sorry.

Does this mean you would have had your heating on otherwise? I have the french doors open and am wearing a t shirt today and will not, absolutely not put the heating on this month.

Thrify - I can't remember what I did when I change my surname but don't remember it being a big hassle, and this was in pre-internet days - just.

Bought Wellies for the short man and dog food using sainsbug points £20 worth, dog dinners were on offer at £2 for 4 so I got 6 packs and Wellies were £8 so nil to pay - yay

My mum kept wanting to buy me things, like socks or a jumper because she felt sorry for me I think, with my horrible cough.

This is the first time I have been out in 5 days and I was exhausted after an hour, I had to have a lie down at my mums for half an hour before I picked my boy up. If I was a horse they would shoot me :(

Still procrastinating on the de-cluttering, don't have the energy today, but there is always tomorrow.
