Hello
Happy Birthday calling:beer::beer:
Spendy day needed bread and ended up spending £11 !!!!! so need to work on this
Been relaxing today and had a little nap as really tired today.
Stewby can you put the link up for the £1 pot challenge can't find it on the forum .. Thank you
does anyone have those days when they don't really know what they want to do with their life ?? Mines my career i have just started a new job working with young adults with LD, but feel i should have achieved more by now .
I am not planning on leaving yet as I do really enjoy my job and my CV will not look good as had two jobs in the last two years !!! but I hope to work in a specialised school one day. I have emailed two schools to see if they have voluntary places but not heard yet.
My mind runs at a million miles an hour I need to slow down lol.
I will look at that thread applemuncher. Thank you
Have a good evening all0 -
Finally got round to doing some decluttering this weekend. I am in the midst of tidying a cupboard out and so far 3 items set aside to go to charity shop tomorrow.
Hoping to tackle my study/craft room later on tonight or tomorrow. There is loads in there needing done so I am setting myself the goal of re-using (elsewhere is the house) or charity shopping 10 items from that room.0 -
A NSD for me. Slept until 10am. Finally finished the painting in the tiny toilet and the white paint as well so hope I don't find any missed bits. That took between 5 and 10 minutes and I did the washing up and needed a lie down. It was 12 noon so I had a snack, read my book and found I was drifting off to sleep. Dozed and slept until nearly 5pm. Really don't know what is up.
Trying to jot down symptoms for when I start form filling eg I now have to put plates away one at a time, can't carry more than one. Have added it to the list of things for when I go to the doctor's (check for rheumatoid arthritis as well as osteoarthritis). Mum told me last week that her father 'was crippled with it' (he died when I was 8). Told her she could/should have told me before I went to see the specialist in August. I knew my grandad had had pnuemonia and had a bad chest (worked in cotton mills) but not about this, so have given a whole load of wrong information. Was talking to a man with RA in the CAB waiting room - he had two days off in February and just had to have another two weeks off and his employers have sacked him (he has sick notes to November). Alternatively I could have flu but because of protective jab it is just making me tired and sleepy (DS3 is still sneezing but I only had the one day when I was sniffly).
Have added to my de-clutter total with things used up and items binned at the other house (including two broken buckets - one leaking and one so damaged it had a fringe round the top - and a mop with half an inch of moss growing on it).
No progress on photos, one boy still asleep and one awake but only just. Have said photos and measuring must happen tomorrow - can't measure myself. Trying to push the 'everything we manage to sell is something that doesn't need to be packed/ put on a van' but aware that the things I asked him to scan into the computer, still haven't been done.
So on to running (can we do it like a fun run - I'll be the one lying in the bed with people pushing, just don't let go at the top of a steep slope). Will plod on, wading through treacle. Need to have another go in here as the bed is piling up again - and the papers I need filling in/ to read through again before Tuesday are buried.
How do I manage when I need things to happen and everyone else is used to me being the one who makes things happen. Ah well, plod on, plod on. Get the running shoes on (mountain trainers with vibram soles, no less). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
PS Pikachu suits are definitely the way to go - could manage without the central heating until it snows in the Pikachu suit. Not sure if I will be able to get it on after my operation and need to wear at-shirt underneath as doing all the buttons up at the front is a bit fiddly when you are in a rush. It's this one http://www.amazon.com/Super9COS-Pokemon-Pikachu-Kigurumi-Halloween/dp/B009151SUQ

Had a lot lovely day too many cakes, drinks, yummy grandson providing entertainment and nice meal out with my youngest daughter later. I paid for my own as she had bought me some concert tickets and flowers, and spent enough on me.
Made my Xmas cake today as well, got up early. House smells gorgeous.

 :bdaycake: :coffee:
Mothernerd Love the Pikachu onesie! I'd love a Stitch onesie (From Lilo and Stitch!)
Loving the 3rd and final leg of the triathlon apple, I feel a little like I struck a couple of punctures in the cycle- I am only up to 9 SFDs and due to lack of check in, lost my way a little. It will be good to hop on for one more day of cycling, then start stretching out for the Run!:coffee:

Happy birthday again for yesterday Calling - your yummy GS made me smile... On facetime today with my mum and dad I could see the excitement in their faces at the prospect of us being there in a few short days. After weeks and weeks of worry, & intermittent chatting because Jelly is going to bed earlier and mum has not been around as much as she is sleeping a lot too, it is lovely to see them look excited about something.
Not a SFD which is really galling. I went out to buy bread even though there is a loaf in the freezer as #1 expected to go out this afternoon once my friend had left and desperate to buy some Astonish mould and mildew remover for the bathroom from the 99p store. In anticipation of this and friends visit, I went to get a fresh loaf as usually I feed her little boy with Jelly at lunchtime, stocked up on ham etc too the other day! But.. great minds think alike, she had made him a ham sandwich and brought it with her, so bread only required for Jelly who cares not whether it has been frozen or not... and she stayed later than she anticipated so I didn't get out to get the mould remover. Bathroom currently still making me feel ill when I go in there, so will likely go after dropping Jelly off at nursery in the morning. I put the 99p in an envelope for tomorrow, so please tell me, if I am good and do not spend anything else, do I get away with a SFD?In all honesty I am definitely going to hit that target this month so I am not too worried!!
Had a big headache so went to bed at 7:30 & woke at 11:40 feeling bright and breezy. Bad planning.. I have taken my night tablets just now so settling back in and hope to sleepstill managing on barely any normal co-codamol tablets. The hang-up of taking them for 18 months at 100 or so a month is that a headache is not touched by normal paracetamol & I can't take any anti-inflammatories, so end up taking co-codamols for slight things
still it is gone now, and 2 tablets for a week is incredible
my night tablets are really working wonders
Off to bed again. Night peeps xxx
