Morning everyone :) Abundant-that must be such a great feeling knowing this month is THE month-well done :T

Oh, and if the naughty staircase is not full-I need a step. I bought the £6 for 10 M&$ Groupon too :o My logic-I'll eventually need bits of kids uniform or something-even a meal deal when I just can't face preparing a meal. So it's forward planning with a bit of a discount ;)

I'm having a lazy day today. There is dinner left over from yesterday, so that will do for anyone hungry! The two younger ones are staying over at their dads tonight so I will have some me time-yay! Although in reality I just end up sleeping, lol!:T

I will get some exercise in today and some netflix and reading. I've just finished watching suits and now into braking bad :D

Have a good day everyone and take care. Keep on going :T

    Morning all!
Cannot believe we are on day 4 already! Where is the time going?!
Going to aim for an nsd today. Possibly the first saturday ever!

Was going to get the car washed but nature is doing that for me.

Got a tonne of house work to do, sorted out some things to donate to family, friends and others.

Going to pop a chili in the slow cooker hopefully bulk it out and i may get a few lunches out of it next week! :)

Going to invite some friends round for some drinks- free entertainment as OH got a few bottles for his bday last week!

Have a great saturday all. :)

A boring NSD for me doing the ironing in between drinking tea and coughing, better than yesterday only did an hour then had to lie down.

My boys, DH and DS are off to the football this afternoon (in the rain) before that they are going to see great granny who is 101 today.:bdaycake:

Dolly, hope DD did okay with 11+ - DS2 did his two weeks ago and gets results next week. Just spent our morning at another open day for prospective school, visited last year for DS1 but nice to see it through younger one's eyes.

moohound, glad you're feeling a little better - I actually quite like ironing as long as I'm parked in front of a good programme or film, almost feels like me-time then!

Got another 2 SFD's in the bag from Thurs and Fri, didn't get to town on bike yesterday with one thing and another, so all miles in car so far, sadly. Need to shop today after dropping DS2 off at a party, poor DS1 had to go to DH's football match with him as we weren't back in time and now it's pouring :-(.

Made pulled pork yesterday, now sitting in fridge in meat juices and rest of seasoning to warm up for dinner, but not sure what to serve it with, hence trip to SM - none of my lot like coleslaw, so was gonna look for some suitable bread to put it in, but any suggestions for bread and/or accompaniments gratefully received. Just know after all the loving preparation at least one of them will say "I don't like it........." - but then they moan about the lack of variety on the meal plans lol!

    Afternoon all,

    Lovely day here :)

Have got another gym session in - 2/12 now. Bought a few staples (so not a SFD) and am making soup as we speak. Kitchen blitzed and room all tidy... Now for a relaxing Saturday!

I have to say it feel a bit surreal knowing next month I'll be debt free... don't know what to expect... or how I'll feel... i suspect there will be some guilt when I spend money above and beyond what I'm used to because it is so deeply engrained in my mental programming. I have to remind myself I work hard for that money - therefore it is mine to spend as I please... It's a difficult one to get your head around! Thanks everyone for your ongoing support!!!

Caeraugirl that pulled pork sounds yummy.

First NSD for me today! Had to work this morning, then boss bought us all drinks and a spot of lunch.

Yesterday ended £5 under budget with a night out consisting of a magic show and a Chinese meal. £15 spent including travel- proud of myself :D Wasn't even tempted to spend £1.80 on a can of soft drink at the restaurant... tap water with ice will do nicely thank you!

    Hello all,

Well I have had 2 NSDs so far although not easy at the moment as I am going through a phase of eating my body weight in food at the moment and struggling not to buy chocolate when I am out. I am hoping that thread will help me.

I had a session yesterday where we were talking about stress management for staff and we had a mindfulness session. It was really interesting but I hadn't realised how much I struggle with being in the moment. Really going to try and work on it though.

Not sure how much exercise I am going to get this week as I am back to uni from Monday and it will be three days this term not two as it has been. I promise I will try though.

    Have a great week all.

Today's moment that made me smile: 'bumping' into Anna and Elsa in the shopping centre and dd having a photo with them. Said photo being taken by dh, so no spend. Will blow it up and frame it for her bday!
