    Hello world,

Sorry diary I havent been in for so long. Am very sad to say my beloved mum passed away last Thursday, 12 December 2015 :( My sister and I were with her at the time and it was very peaceful. All family and very close friends had had a chance to visit and say their goodbyes and thank yous. Her funeral is in a few weeks time on 1 December.

The last few days have gone by in a blur of sorting out funeral arrangements and trying to sort out dad. He needs care as mum used to do a lot for him, not full time but it is another thing that we are trying to sort it out.

Not sure where finances are, know bank is ok at the moment, tight but enough in there to cover direct debits. My sains CC has taken a hammering, bought a laptop, used it for work for few days whilst at hospice with mum so thats £400, had to pay a bill for dad £471 (though will get that back), did some food shopping for myself and the horse and then bought fuel, all on there too so another £200 odd, need to check all figures and make a plan to clear it all. So in a few days can try and work out whats what.

Have had a lot of time of over the last week or so that hopefully will get paid for, but who knows, should have some compassionate leave, just need to confirm with boss.

So a bit up in the air at the moment but just try and get everything sorted in the next few days. Watch this space.

  • Oh BB, I'm so sorry to hear about your Mum. You must be so all over the place. It seemed to happen so quickly from her first complaining of being unwell, to passing away.

  • I'm so sorry to hear your news, you must be in awful shock at the speed of her illness as clearmydebts mentioned, no wonder you're in a blur.

Sod the finances, look after yourself and your Dad/family. Please get as much support from Social Services as possible for Dad's care, they can help in so many different ways and take the pressure off you and leave you to have time to just be together.
