    Good morning :)

Speaking to pensions people yesterday may not be able to get to my money till I am 55 , waiting a call back, may transfer it to another pension pot if needs be, pointless leaving it there unless real great benefits, at the moment would get a pension of £3.16 a month, whats the point  Really could do with that money now. Watch this space but am not holding my breath.

So means back up to needed £1,260, a long way to go :( I have done it in the past so will keep persevering.

Small spend of 89p yesterday on some coleslaw, had some loose change so used that, shouldnt need to spend a penny today. One small bid on ebay, item that has been listed and re-listed for ages, definitely worth keeping to try and re-sell. Need to get back into the ebay mode and list some new bits on there, its is painful but does make me money.

Annual mortgage statement arrived yesterday, total now £144,439, have paid of gross £5342 but have paid £4,516 in interest, my mortgage overpayments are showing but will take a long time to show any real progress, but at least it is going down.

    Good morning :)

Well it is a much better day than yesterday. Mum wasnt well rang doctor couldnt get an apptmt bar a phone call so went to work, called mum and she was poorly and wanted to go to A&E, so left work (was there 15 mins :rotfl:). Did take mum to doctor but she referred her to hospital for assessment so spent my day in A&E  She had CT scan but hadnt got results so they kept her in overnight, sister up this morning but just waiting now to find out what is going on, keeping everything crossed but it wasnt great yesterday :(

Good news I suppose is that I had leave so took yesterday of as annual leave so still get paid and work were quite understanding, albeit they were e-mailing me yesterday afternoon to ask questions whilst I was sitting in A&E  So yesterday ended up being spendy £1 in doctor car park (from loose change) £4 on sandwich and chocolate and £10 on dinner (treated sister as was late and she paid for hospital car park). So unexpected but in budget so far.

I didnt get down really late till the horse, gone 8pm, had texted yard owner and she had bought her in, had texted friend to in case YO forget and when got down there friend was just finishing mucking out and putting her all to bed for me so didnt have to do anything, was a lovely end to a crappy day :)

Money news seen as this is what this diary is still about, paypal are still holding my disputed ebay money hostage (£12 odd ) and no sign of item, have to wait until 10 Nov so nearly another 2 weeks, just have to be patient!

Some survey money has landed so £10 each to savings now at around £95 each :) Am pleased as only started around this time last month and have managed to save nearly £200 in a month just from extras :D Just need to keep going at this rate somehow and will be definitely nearly there, if not on target :)

Mum was poorly a few weeks ago, had some d&V and has been slowly going downhill since then. Had ultrasound, blood tests, ended up referring her to A&E yesterday, spent day there with sister, she had CT scan but no results

Stayed in hospital overnight and sister has been up there all day today, I had to go to work as already had yesterday of as last minute

Just spoken to sister. Mum has secondary liver cancer, they think it started in her bowel, she always has it in her stomach lining and it has spread to her lymph nodes. She was also finding it hard to breathe and they have found 2 blood clots on her lungs.

They are currently needing to do biopsy to consider treatment so need to decide whether to admit mum today or do as outpatient, if she comes home she will have to have carers as she cant do anything as she has no energy.

sister, me and bro in law told and have just sobbed down the phone to my best friend. Just told colleague at work and he said I could go home but cant do anything so may as well stay at work for now. Spoke to YO and they are doing hossie so dont have to worry about that.

We haven’t told dad yet, will find out later whether mum is staying in or not then me and sister will talk to dad and also if needed take up this afternoon.

    I just feel like !!!! :(

Morning, thanks Caz and Chrysalis for dropping by :)

Told dad and he seemed ok we had dinner which we all smiled at, hard not to when my 5 year old nephew is doing random magic tricks :) Then we went to see mum, she is ok, looked a bit brighter, still very weak and tired but ok. Just waiting now for biopsy before we can see what can do next, just a waiting game. Work was really good and said could go home and think will still be flexible if needs be but for now am carrying on as normal as I cant do anything and at least am keeping busy.

Did hossie this morning and YO will do later, will do properly over the weekend. Sister is sorting out shopping and bits for dad this morning and things like money etc and calling some relatives and will call me later to see about visiting mum. We are lucky as sister is a teacher and on half term so can be around at the moment, she was with mum all day yesterday which was brilliant. Next week will get harder as back to school but will wait and see what the weekend brings. Again feel very lucky that mum, dad, sister and I all live within 5 minutes of each other so no major travelling and we are all there for each other if needed.

Know this diary is meant to be about money and its still there at the back of my mind but nice to have a place to let of steam :) Spent a few pennies yesterday some chocolate that was out of loose change and also £3 on car park in hospital, all can be fitted in easily within budget. Will still keep a close eye on my determined head is still there! :)

Morning, cant really say good as just so so at the moment, plus its a monday so never good!

Spendy weekend, friday went to see mum in hospital, luckily car park machine broke so didnt have to pay for parking :) Saturday spent morning with hoss just getting organised for the week, came home expecting to have time for lunch but mums biopsy was earlier than planned so had to rush up quickly so spent £10 on rubbish food for lunch and takeaway as up at the hospital at 12.30 and didnt get home till nearly 9pm. Yesterday did hoss, and went to see mum, another £3 on parking, was £8 on saturday. So expensive to park at the hospitals :(

Bad thing is mum wasnt great at all yesterday she had some pain so was on morphine so she was asleep and not with it at all, felt very teary and was not in a good state of mind :( Its just a waiting game at the moment as 10 days until we get results and can work out whats what, just hope she is better today. Sister is up today and I am sorting dad out tonight and tomorrow we are swapping. My sister is poorly now too which isnt great at all, she is back to work today as a teacher which is the last thing she needs but hopefully she will be ok.

Good news, one ebay sale over the weekend, £3.45 withdrawn from paypal, have left it in current a/c to help with parking costs for now. £10 sains gift card has landed so with that and nectar points have £25 towards next shop :)

Need to go and get a sandwich today as not organised but have put on some stew in the slow cooker so sorted for dad and I dinner tonight at least. Still got lots in freezer just need to remember to take things out.

At work which is good as take minds of things, just not really sure how I feel at the moment, just feel numb with it all, but suppose that is to be expected.
