Phone is finally sorted, I think. I must have entered my password a good 100 times today since I lost all my apps.
I've paid the credit cards and the council tax, updated my finances as I went along. Now I've got to get on with work as I've got none done all day due to the stupid update not working  Also need to think about putting tea on as DD is at a club so won't be home until nearly 4.30 and I we need to be out the door at 6pm!Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Kitchen clean & tidy, clean dishes put away, dishwasher back on, living room tidy, bedroom tidy, bathrooms tidy, windows open for some fresh air
Leaving the washing hanging up for another day because it's still a bit damp.
Bit dubious to do the ironing as the iron seems to be leaking a lot of water out of somewhere :huh:0 -

You've done well, Frizzle :T
I've had a very frustrating afternoon - thought I'd got at least one of the resource boxes finished and just needed to check it, but I discovered that it was not yet ready to go because we had decided to make some changes which I hadn't actually done
I have spent a good hour searching for my notes from our last meeting and eventually found them in the printed leader's booklet - logical! - then spent another hour searching for information and more copyright-free pictures on the Internet
Then DH rang to say that he has got tummy ache and was coming home early from the railway. It must be bad because he didn't even have a bacon sandwich or eat his packed lunch.
Also, he had just received a phonecall from his elderly cousin to say that her oldest daughter had died this morning, after a long illness. Not unexpected, but still very sad.
Now I am trying to decided what to do next: bake the rest of the cakes or continue with the resources or sort out trains for tomorrow so that I can leave DH at home, at least until Saturday. We are supposed to be going together to the charity trustees' meeting and then on to DS2 and family, to babysit DGS3 all day Saturday. I do not want DH to go to DS2's house if he is unwell, as DS2 is not in the best of health atm. I can't drive 70 miles there and back again with a painful knee, so the train it must be.
Think I'll look up trains, then phone my colleague and DS2...0 -
Ionafan sorry a spanner has been thrown in your plans and hope DH gets better soon.
Honey - oh no re the mog, hope he gets better soon
Washing in, jus need to make DS3's bed. Cake baked, pastry rolled, just doing dinner now.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Just checking in -- Busy day!
Two beds stripped and washed first thing, hung them with the dehumidifier in the middle and they're now dry and remade.
4+ hours at the paid stuff, collected DS2, dusted the lounge and vacuumed everywhere, bedroom is tidied and I have plans afoot for a weekend-long flingfest -- just need to break the news to DH
Have scrubbed the loo, the basin and the bathroom floor, will do the bath once I've had a quick shower.
Off now to make different curries for all the picky moaning minis and make myself smell a but less… pungent _pale_ Have a good evening all xx0 -

Tonight I have had to tell my lovely sweet 11 year old that she cannot go live with her dad because I don't know that she would be safe and her safety is the only thing that matters.. I feel like I have shattered everything in her life.. she is devastated.. I'm just a horrible person. While we were talking DD2 came home from college.. as she got to the door I said to her.. do you think Moomin would be safe if she lived with your dad? and without pausing for breath she said no.
I don't know what to do for the best.. I just want to kill him.. so he is not an entity in their lives. He is abusive and manipulative and lies constantly and he will break my baby girls.. I want to stop all contact but all that would happen is he would come to the house kicking and screaming and swearing and threatening.. again!
I told Moomin that he left here because he had hurt DS1 and DD1 and they weren't safe here any more so DS1 had to go stay with my mother and he was told that day to get out.. That DD1 was terrified of him.. I told her to speak to her siblings and grandma and aunties and see what they said about him because it wasn't just me he was horrible to, nor just them.
I wish I could afford to move to another town so I could limit any contact to almost nothingLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
