    Good morning all

Glad you slept better skinty and that your medication is helping CY.
Good luck to Scotland, whichever way the vote goes today. I'm sure every eligible Flylady will vote thoughtfully and, if devolution does happen, that you won't leave us :grouphug:

Hope everyone has a good day. I shall be using the spatulas, but there are still plenty of wooden spoons in the jar and more cutlery in the drawer for those who need a few extra. (((Hugs))) to all who need them.

    Morning all

I'll be glad when the scottish vote is over, bit bored of it dominating the news now.

    ^^^ ... wot she said.

I think I'll run the dy$on over the top layer today to pick up all the dog hair and bits of frayed fabric that are colouring the fawn carpet black and blue respectively; keep tidying and putting away and then get back to the sewing. I got rather hacked off with it yesterday, but that's because I'm making eight items that should look the same (they don't, obviously) with feather-light fabric. I'll be glad to get back to straightforward cotton, but I have learned a lot.

OH has flown the car in readiness to swop it for a four door for Mrs Dog (how cool is he!), but the dealer chappie hasn't phoned to say the new-to-us car is in. Grr - because I have to take Mrs Dog to the vet this arvo for a mid-course jab which means putting her blankets back in there etc etc.
    Better is good enough.

Hi, been really bad and not done any real housework apart from on Monday but thought I might do a bit this morning before Z comes home at lunchtime - they've got an open evening tonight so everyone is doing a half day. We're going to take Whiz out for a whirl!!

Sorry, haven't read thread but hope all OK and got lots of hugs, sticks and spoons here so help yourself to whichever you need xx

Despite having a poorly baby all week (that meant we were at children's A&E last night until midnight) I've managed to do the following. Along with about 6 loads of washing and get dinner on the table every night. The only thing I haven't done that I need to is vacuum through the hall stairs & landing. I even made it out to a first time parents group and met some lovely ladies in the same situation as me which was nice.

I feel so much better for having done even these few small things, the house is looking much better and it's given me something to focus on.

MIL coming to stay tomorrow and although I really couldn't give two hoots about the what she thinks about the state of the house (I like her, we get on fine but I've had more pressing matters to deal with)

Hello ladies, I'm picking myself up slowly, I managed to eat a little bit last night and felt better for it. DH has WFH all week to look after me. He's done his best but the house misses my attention. I want to nag but don't have the energy. I don't really feel up to flying intensively on half a jacket potato.
(((Hugs))) Please rest lots and get well soon, Mumto5 x
Ionafan hope your knees ease as the day goes by.
Thanks, Dusty. Walking around and standing to cook for the past hour has helped.
Just popping in to say hello - and grab a couple of Ionafan's spoons!!

Just finished! I have done everything on my list apart from cleaning living room windows which only need doing on the inside! Kiddies fingers prints on the patio doors while watching the diggers of the building site over the road!
But just realised I have no bread for lunch! So going up to the shops now and then lunch when I get back. Hopefully there will still be some time before the school run to clean the windows and start on Wednesday's list!
