    Hi everyone

Dashing through and past - excuse me - as at work (ahem)

    Morning all

Car passed her MOT (bless her) and had a mini service as I only do about 4000 miles per year.

Today would have been late OH's birthday, last year would have been a 'big' birthday and I was ok. This year, it seems to have side swiped me. Probably doesn't help that it would have been my Nan's birthday this month too and she passed in March, so for the first time ever I don't have anyone to buy presents for in September.

    x
Well done car and lots of (((hugs))) for the day.

I'll be back later - hope you all having a super evening - dark here already :(

Oh deco I hope today has been gentle on you x

I'm just about keeping on top of the kitchen grot following meals. And of course sorting the small people. We've been to the dentist tonight, aww both littlies got up in the chair without a murmur <phew>

Need to log back on for work in the morning, hopefully just for a yes email so I can send off my latest paper. I'm sure DD will manage without my undivided attention for 10 min. Friday is a training day so will have both littlies at home. Need to decide if we're having a day out anywhere.

We are missing a school jumper. Collected DD from wraparound and the manager said "oh I've got DS sweater here" but when she looked on the shelf it had gone  and it wasn't in lost property either. So goodness knows where it is now :( it wasn't an expensive logo one, but even so...

I did manage to S&S the bathrooms last night so upstairs feels better for that, but still haven't done the kitchen floor and hall etc. just don't have the energy.

    Dailies done.

More of the living room list done. Will finish it tomorrow as that's my usual living room day.

    Bathroom list done
    Kitchen S&Sed.

    Washing put away.

DD came for lunch and we have decided to go out for a meal on Friday night. She's a bit down so thought it would cheer her up. Will be nice to do something special together.

Decluttered another half pound at fat club. Getting there slowly.

I forgot that I also hoovered the bedroom today.

Not a lot done. Did the paid stuff until 1 and then had lunch. Ds1 had a swimming lesson and then had a parents info meeting at the school. Inbetween that I have done a couple of hours ironing so the ironing basket is clear. Not for long though! And two loads of washing!
That's it for me today as feel rough and have a stinking cold. No plans for tomorrow so hopefully I can catch up then!

  • Lovely knitting as always Pigpen, I love seeing pics of your creations. Thank you ladies for all the sticks, spoons, posivibes and hugs, I will be making good use of those.

Flying limited again here today as thanks to the meds to send AF on vacation I actually managed to sleep through the reduced pain so I feel vaguely human today but saving spoons ready for operation. Folded some towels Anthea style so my airing cupboard doesn't get re-organised beyond recognition by the EX MiL while I am in horsepiddle. WM X 3, and TD x 2.

Sticker hunting success at Mr M x 2 (in town and out of town superstore) and Mr T tonight, plus some top up veggies from Ald! on coupons. Tomorrow there is going to be a cook-fest so I can get some ready meals made up for the family, plus some well blended versions for myself that can be safely inhaled with minimal chewing for the next few weeks. But my bargains of the night were individual Pukk@ Pies, bags of bananas and bags of leeks from Mr M for 9p each.

Planning a breakfast picnic for youngest Skints with EX MiL for Friday morning at park next to the nursery, so she can then herself get back to my house by train or by bus when her bus pass kicks in without having to struggle with pushchairs etc and I can already be on the train making my way off to horsepiddle with a whole hours leeway for unforeseen occurrences.

Going to have some serious R&R for myself now rather than chase about flying, then I aim for a decent nights sleep. Nighty night
The cold never bothered me anyway
