  • OK I need some advice. I have one small, hairy dog. We let him on the furniture and have fleece throws on the two lounge sofas to protect them and these get covered in dog hair. Nothing gets the hair off, not washing, not shaking or brushing. The only thing you can do is hoover them but its hard to do and takes for ever.

If I bin the fleece throws what could I get instead? I saw some nice knitted ones but surely these will be just as bad?

Any ideas? Or would it just be easier to chuck the throws and hoover the hairs off the sofa?

Almost there with the prep for tomorrow's meeting, usual last minute for me but I have learnt that I work best with a deadline.

Walking first thing tomorrow and need to try to get to town in the afternoon, I'm quite upto date with flying this week though due to Monday's heroic efforts.

Need to get the kitchen cleaned up from dinner yet and find fluffy cat who is sulky after a worming and flea treatment.
