Skinty................I know I don't know all the facts, but he cannot make you get out as you have kids in the house, I am assuming the kids are his, I may be wrong, if I was you I would stay put, I don't think any court will order you out with kids and make you all homeless. I 'think' if you leave, the authorities will say you have made your self homeless.

If you feel you can go over to the housing board on here and post up the facts, and let the experts over there, offer you advise.

Not a lot done this afternoon, except watch rubbish on telly

Had a lovely night out last night (very rare) I took DS1 to his god mother's 50th. Whilst we were there DH did the ironing (at home) :)

    Back lawn cut
    Back fence painted
    Big old frog eaten
    All work tops cleaned
    Toaster decrumbed

    Charity bag filled
  • skinty, kaz is right. You have to play the game before the council will find you a home, you will have to wait until your ex issues an eviction notice. Not fair and does not seem right but that's the way it is. Lots of best wishes to you.

The kitchen has been (finally) stripped of all wallpaper :j

Counter tops were then steam cleaned and disinfected. Kitchen floor swept. Counter top items returned to their homes.
WM on and washing hung on indoor line.

LW happy anniversary to you and Mr LW - hope the kitchen re-fit goes smoothly

Skinty.. if his children are in the house you are protected by law from being kicked out.. he can serve you an eviction but the council won't give you a house you will be over crowded in and if he forces you out then you will stand to be put in a hostel until something comes available. I'd be telling him you need enough money to move to a private rented place and that means admin fees, 2 months rent and removal costs.. and I said he is a very rude 4 letter word beginning with 'C' and sounding like shunt!

As long as you are in his house he has power over you, he can threaten and exert his dominance over you and your situation.. you are better out of there!

I have made elderberry cough syrup! For the first time. And apart from forgetting to put ginger in, it's all gone quite well! Have lots more berries which I will use on Tuesday.

Had a proper Sunday dinner, which both children ate (?huh?) and they've been bathed, hair washed, nails clipped and generally preened for school. Bags are ready for morning, just awaiting weather to decide if its shorts or trousers (kids, not me )

I need to wash my own hair tonight too, as we leave at 7.40am.

Kitchen has been returned to rights, but the garage is still unspeakable - it will keep. I popped up in the loft today looking for my thick dressing gown (still feeling cold) and found the box of hats and mitts, so the kiddies have had some fun dressing up. It definitely gave me some welcome chuckles. DD has a hat that is cow print and has little horns. So you see she really has been Miss Moo today :rotfl:

Glad the kitchen is making progress - comment probably appropriate for both LW and deco

I'm at the office tomorrow and flying will remain low key until such time as I can no longer excuse my laziness ;):p
