...what a week. Finished by having Reception all day. they were all sitting sweetly on the carpet waiting for the register and I turned round AND ALL THEIR GROWN UPS WERE IN THE CLASSROOM WITH THEM  so I rapidly improvised and suggested they wave bye bye to their mummies or daddies or grown ups. The grown ups took the hint and went...

Only one weeper and she calmed down very quickly. Though they hadn't met me I have taken pains to be visible throughout the week as much as poss so they were familiar with me.

Have decluttered locks and have new hairstyle,

And tomorrow I shall declutter DS to Uni. DD will be hot on his heels and then, next weekend Villa valli will be immaculate.

    I shall probably hate it!

And, once gain Honey Bear I am 'well jell' of your location...gin...chocolate AND haberdashery? IF there's a stationers too I coulod well be tempted to become a PERMANENT lodger.

For the record house is a midden.

There's a $t@ples within easy walking distance but I don't think it counts. Having said that, there's a P@perch@ase if that's any use.

Ditton the midden, but mine has a new cushion and a door curtain in one of the downstairs rooms ... all ready for new lodgers. ;)
    Better is good enough.
  • Hello all

mumto2 hope pip improves and is back to full health in no time.

Most of the house hettyed (just my room and spare room 1)
Ironing basket is empty and clothes have been put away
WM on and washing hung on indoor line
Walked to t0sco and got a few bits but forgot the main reason I went in there - eggs
    DW emptied

Rang my old work last month to enquire about a job upon my return to my adopted home town. My old boss said there probably was a vacancy but she'd let me know. Well tonight I found out they're making people redundant  so I guess I won't be returning there! Such a shame for my friends that still work there and selfishly for me as I loved my job.

    Goodnight all

  • Ended the day in a right bad mood. 1. Dd was caught rubbing her toothbrush round the bottom of sink and plug hope...... She does this after every time she cleans her teeth she admitted. 2. Despite the fact I completed 1 unit vision2leRn say as it was late as I had to make additions twice I can't be enrolled on the course..what a waste of my bloody time grr.

Chinese and wine didn't cheat me up and I've slept all night with youngest and woke up at 6 starving hungry.... Chocolate for breakfast sounds tempting

Sorry to hear about the job situation deco is there a plan b?

Oh mummyroys sorry about the course, and DD, is she trying to make herself poorly? X

DS isn't in the best of spirits this morning. He's not sure why. I've supervised bedroom tidying and DDs floor is covered again already

Need to get the kiddies dressed really, and try tame DD hair - looks a bit wild...

Then I have 100 things to take back downstairs and a wash to put on - school stuff!

Morning all. I'm back from big bad London town. I haven't had a chance to catch up with the thread so I'm hope you're all ok. Hugs for those who need them.

I came back to find NO washing up had been done while I was away but the dogs were ok and that's the most important job as far as I'm concerned.

This is what I need to do today as a minimum (having already done the washing up):

    Walk dogs twice
    Pop to shops
    Meal plan, clean fridge
    Catch up with washing
    Hoover downstairs
Wrap DDs birthday presents and write card
Cut grass back and front and any other gardening I can find time for
    Enjoy night out with DH

    Tomorrow:
    Walk dogs twice
    Hoover properly right through house
    Dye DD's hair
    Ironing
Pack for week in LW's neck of the woods.

Have a great weekend everyone. I'll probably pop back later.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Boosy she said it's to clean the toothbrush after using it without getting her hand wet on it lol I went off on a right rant about it's the same as licking the toilet or drain in the road. Tbh the sink will be clean but still not a good idea is it grr

Hope you doing ok bossy and taking care of yourself.

So far we all dressed, pots put away and washed as needed, cleaned up coffee I spilt and put washer on. Now I'm laying on sofa with a book and my coffee
