lol.. mummyroys.. that's pretty amusing.. just tell her to clean the taps and grout with it too.. they are covered in soap and mould so she might want some of that on her toothbrush she is going to put in her mouth. Advise she runs the hot tap and rinse it under that after use, she won't need to touch the bristles and can clean all the sticky toothpaste off (I have neurotic tendencies about my brush). They do have some crazy ideas!

  • Well I gave her new one out of cubourd and she dropped it then asked if it was dirty and needed to go in the bin lol. Showed her to rinse under tap then tap on sink edge to get excess water off. Ironically she one in house that gets ill the least

  • Bossy there is a plan B, TBH there always has been as there was no guarantee I would have been re-employed by them. It would have meant going back to shift work and working weekends, so getting a 9-5 mon-fri job up there will leave my evenings free to do the gym, hobbies etc. It most definitely is a spanner dusty, but I'm not defeated.

WM is on, cats feed & HM apple chutney delivered to my step-dad.

I'm currently at the paid stuff ssh! So afterwards I'll hang out the load in the machine. Then I managed to find a wool shop that's localish which I'm going to visit this afternoon (I'm stupidly excited!) as I want to knit some jumpers for me to take to Iceland (the country, not the shop!) and pop into the outdoor sports shop for a coat en-route.

    Have a great day all

    Where has the morning gone?

Off to clean the bathroom and have a shower, just not decided in which order yet.

We have just settled down in bed with a DVD. Decided bed as I'm less likely to be sat on, and I can stretch out.

2 lots of laundry out on the line, dad has been and fixed the lawnmower handle and then cut the grass :A :T while DD and I lifted everything out of the playhouse and gave it a good dust and sweep. Lots of crispy moth-bits needed removing  Just need to decide what can stay in the playhouse over winter, and what needs to come inside. It's technically dry but as the air gets more damp I think some bits might suffer - dolls cot and pram, cushions etc. it's all out on the back patio at the moment - looks like a garage sale!

I won't be doing much else after sorting the patio as I do feel really tired now - hence the DVD for a bit of peace.

    Having a productive day.

Boyfriend is giving the bathrooms a deep clean, involving the steam cleaner & going over the grout with some grout revive stuff.

    I have:

    Tidied bedroom
    Pu clothes & shopping away
    Put laundry on
    Loaded & put on dishwasher

    I still need to:
    Tidy living room
    Tidy kitchen
Hang washing out & put another load on
    Wash bathroom & kitchen floors
    Hoover
Do ironing (may leave this for tomorrow)
    Make jam
    Make soup

Then me & OH are going to sort paperwork & cupboard under the stairs (absolute mess) together.

    Busy day!
