We've been shopping and got the groceries for the week
only wanted a few bits but ended up with alsorts. DS chose scampi. Lol, he will probably eat it if he thinks it's chicken. For today I'm cheating with a chicken crown wrapped in bacon, frozen roast spuds and steam veg. Was tired just unpacking so I'm sticking with cheat stuff for the time being.
Think I'll go get the ironing board out. Anyone with me?Bossymoo

thank you to all my flyfriends for the posi and coping vibes.....I have been absorbing them by the bucket load.
Update the Skintmobile is now fixed although my plastic flexible friend was declined - mortified doesn't come close, that has never happened to me before, so £700 has gone out of my current account so I now need play the money merry - go - round.......EX has basically said the builder is hoodwinking him out of money left right and centre (although that was not the case and the figures stack up that meant I was siding with the builder not him,) EX has now paid him off, and there is no side gate and a massive L shaped hole running side to side across the back of garden .....EX has now asked me get out 4 years earlier than expected (although I suspected this has been coming for weeks) in exchange for the log book for the car and a very small amount of cash to make it worth my while to go, and he wanted to return almost immediately, but has now agreed that I can't move out instantly but I can have at least one week to re-cooperate from my operation.
DD3 managed to loose her glasses after breaking them and then tripped up and smacked her head on the edge of the door frame, and now has had her head glued thanks to Minor Injuries Thursday night about 20 minutes before they shut.
DD2 has been de-cluttered to Uni yesterday, but with strict instructions to get to Dr asap as she showed me a hard lump on roof of her mouth Friday night and to get herself back on a NICE two week referral after the pre-oral cancer diagnosis of last year. But both DD1 and DD2 are going to pre book cheap train tickets back over coming weeks to help me and the young Skints get packed up to move out, so the EX can reclaim his castle.
I have a big stack of WUDUPA in kitchen with my name on it, but after the big rollercoaster of the last few days I have lost my GUAG completely as AF is knocking at the door to let me know of her imminent arrival.
As I missed the Council closing time by 10 minutes on Friday, I need to be first in the queue in the morning with my life of papers in a bag ready for strangers to poke around and confirm how much help I can get. One house viewing appointment for Tuesday as it is in my suspected budget but it is almost too small for the young Skints and then there is another which looks very very run down, but has enough space to drag all my toot (which I have refused to throw or sell in case this ever happened again) and space for DD1 and DD2 to have their own space and stuff stored, and then in 6 months I can reassess exactly what my needs are and move on again.
So today is a washout, going to be kind to myself as I have already done several hours of admin working out money, moving the last of the debts around before the 0% offers start drying up.
I will try and get today's dailies done, then prepare for !ngeus, council, nursery and school runs, and pre op assessment at hospital tomorrow.
At 2 I will make a start, on my honour as a Flylady, I will get my music on and get a bin bag ready for a big Fling.
Any council persuading vibes for tomorrow will be very welcome, and any company will be very much appreciated....... [/moan]The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Oh skint I thought he'd said it was ok to stay, just recently? What a nightmare
make sure you take everything that belongs to you and the kids. Wish I could do something to help

Afternoon all
Valli loving the training of young flyers
Skint coping vibes for you
Mainly been doing laundry, cleaned the bathroom. Neighbour has dropped a load of apples round so I'll make a crumble in a bit.
Going to put the next bit of washing out, sweep up the plums, water and de vine weevil the pots. Then clean the shower room. DH should be back and have put my car back together so that I can go to Mr WThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Skinty every posi-vibe I can lay hands on is coming your way. I don't get why he's doing this to you; but you know what? Once you're out of there, and can get settled elsewhere, it'll probably be a good thing in the long run, if he's going to give you that sort of grief.
Mumof2 I hope Pip's a little brighter today; I'll keep sending healing vibes.
Kitchen is now all but empty; there's a couple of items to move tomorrow morning after brekkie, and the workmen are going to move the microwave for us (no way Mr LW is lifting that on his own). I've played Spare Room Tetris and got everything into there with the things we'll need to use kept accessible; the kitchen table is now in the lounge and will house the microwave and the filter coffee machine; 2 x each item of table crockery, a few mugs, 2 x beer glasses and 2 x wine glasses are on my desk for us to be able to use. We're as ready as we can be!:eek::eek:
We were out to dins last night, as it was our 11th wedding anniversary; I'd been feeling really ropey all day, so I was pleased I was actually able to go!:o
Folks, don't worry if I don't get to post much next week, ok?:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Lame Wolf very well done for being so prepared. I hope it all goes very smoothly.
I have done what I needed to in the garden and it has now gone very dark so the washing is in and on the maidens as it was nearly dry....................
Load of logs in the kitchen, half way to the log store. I need to pop to Mr W now.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
