Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
Quick cold drink break here before I attack the bathroom which is currently soaking in cleaner & bleach down the toilet :o DD was told to clean it last Tuesday and I didn't realise she hasn't done it until I put the cleaning cloths in the wash and notice there were no "blue for the loo" ones in there  I haven't exactly been looking closely as I've been busy.

I've got the Arg0s app on my phone and as I'm doing jobs I'm adding things to my wish list on it. Always sorting by cheapest price first, so I won't be sitting there going "erm....which XYZ was I going to order?" when I next place an order ;) Its proving useful and I can do it one handed while dusting or moving stuff :o

Just vacuum packed DD's bridesmaid dresses (one from her dads wedding this past February and the one from her Aunties wedding 6 years ago which DD is insisting on keeping) they've gone from taking up about a good 10" to almost nothing thanks to a hanging bag from Dun3lm :D I may get another 2 or 3 for off season coat storage and my "just to small" things :o

    DIY
Gloss Paint touch up (by window, fire surround, meter cupboard, door frames)
Emulsion touch up (along edges throughout, by door where DD has rubbed it away when trying to clean some spillage up :()
    Radiator foil back
Order FF, bookcase, shelves (need to work out which bookcases & how many shelves to order)
Deep clean floor to remove paint splashes - in progress
Rug out from understairs to be put back down - out but not to be put down just yet. Still need to clean the floor but needed it out of the way.
[STRIKE] Put paint away understairs [/STRIKE]
    Other:
    Prepare pulled pork for tea,
Laundry (DD bedding, [STRIKE]dark[/STRIKE], towels x2 , DIY stuff, [STRIKE]cleaning cloths[/STRIKE]) Plus lots of folding of stuff that was done yesterday which DD had "folded" aka folded the sheets sort of then dumped them ontop of the rest of it!

Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • Oh I am so behind, but just very tempted to sit here doodling about and doing nothing.

Off to crack on and do what I can for half an hour until DS2 lands home, then its a trip to the hairdresser!

I dropped DH off at the hospital for Warfarin clinic this morninging, then went to Sainsbugs and picked him up an hour later. We went into town: I got my specs adjusted, bought oddments from the Valli shop and £Land, and then wasted more than an hour sitting outside the French Deli with a coffee, waiting for DH who was changing his bank account from H5BeeSee to N@tionw1de. Eventually I got bored with waiting and drove home, leaving him to use his bus pass.

So far today I have only
    - food shopped
    - bought a new shredder because I overworked the old one to death
    - hung out WMx2 in the sunshine
    - made soup for lunch
    - decided what to cook for evening meal
    - fielded a phonecall
    - caught up with all the news.
    :(

DH is delivering the leaflets this afternoon (after his nap  ) so I shall go out in the garden for an hour or so and plant out the rest of the shady plants. I have just ordered yet more hardy perennials - I love penstemons and will find spaces for them somewhere, even if it isn't very :money:, and it would be simply criminal not to order the multicoloured erysimum on special offer for free at the same time :rotfl:

Later I must update the charity website, but the sun is shining in on the study atm so I can't work for more than a few minutes at a time - that's my excuse, anyway :D

You are doing very well with your kitchen clearance, LW :T and you with your flinging, pigpen :T

(((Hugs))) and spoons to all, especially bossy and skinty (hope the car is going to be OK).

Piggers that dress is delightful! No wonder she wants to actually keep some clothes on now.:D

Mr LW is on his way home; nut loaf (HM, from the freezer) with rice and HM sweet'n'sour sauce (I must go and mix the sauce in a mo) followed by choccie mousse (2nd half of the stuff I made yesterday) for dins, then the plan is to fill another archive box - I want to get the big mixing bowls and some other miscellaneous stuff packed up, and maybe see if there's a few more bits we don't really need can go to the CS.;) It's an excellent opportunity for a good turf out.:o

I just hope the ruddy workmen turn up on Monday!!

    Nitey-nite.:D
