Just popping in to say RIP Toots and blessings to all who knew her xBossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
I've spent 5 hours in the girls room and it isn't even halfway decent yet.. I have an extra chest of drawers and several stacking boxes, 2 binbags of rubbish and about a billion things to sort through.. about 6 huge boxes of clothes and a large ebay box to get listed.. and 4 large bags of wool to knit up..
And when I've done this room I have mine to do which will take even longer and the landing is horrific!!
Moomin came home from school today saying she had no lunch because her dinner card is at KH's so I need to ring school tomorrow.. I asked why she didn't go speak to the teacher about it and she just shrugged at me.. She has had 3 dinners since she got home and is eating sandwiches now..
Back to finding the bedroom.. I have half an hour to get it reasonable so the girls can go to bed!
For some crazy reason I just emailed a lady and asked for more info re the Doula project here.. It sounds like a useful way to spend my time and I've already done the breastfeeding requirement so it is only a 10 week course of a couple of hours a week.. I *think* I could manage that.. it might be fun.. and I am going stir crazy in here doing nothing but my knitting and flinging.. I am looking at going back to uni in the next year or so .. I need to discuss with them whether they require me to do the Access course thing again seeing as it has been 5 years since I did it. OH can stay home with the children and I'll go make myself useful somewhere!
(every time I get these thoughts another little person pops up.. but I'm pretty determined this time)
I'm also going to look at starting dyeing yarn in rainbows so hopwfully that will become a viable reliable income.. I have a yarn habit to fund so this seems a good idea.. today..
Right.. flinging...LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
well I have a mountain to still sort through and some more boxes may need to be ordered because I don't know where to sort everything to.
I need to find my bed which I shall do momentarily when we take the girlies up.. their room is SO much better!! It really is but I have at least 4 hours work still to do in there and Tiddles has some clothes to put away/sort too.. she has a mountain in front of her cupboard.
I worked myself up a sweat today.. and I feel filthy!!
So, clearing my room so we can get to bed and giving up for the evening so I can get my knitting done!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Girlies all away to bed, including Pesty-Pixie.. let's just hope she stays there.. she usually does 30-45 minutes sleep then wakes for a scream and more 'boof' .. it's so annoying!!!
I'm hoping Dot sleeps better in her tidier less cluttered room.. sleep is harder in a messy room.. fingers crossed!!
OH made a cuppa so I'm going to slurp that and knit for the remainder of the evening

Nice to see you so positive Piggers and wanting to spend time out of the house doing something to interest you.
I've just used a free voucher to get a free cami top, could let it go to waste. Need to look at a couple of other bits on here and then clear up in the kitchen and get DS3 to bed.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Dusty.. I got all crazy this week and asked DD1 if she would like me to go to a toddler group with her on Thursday morning.. There is another Friday morning but I am busy then.. Samuel is a little monkey and driving her crazy I just thought a toddler group might wear him out a bit.. and I could take my 2 horaces!
Pesty-Pixie has been bawling at OH for the last 20 minutes so boof it is

Hi all
Been flat out working for the last few days so not much flying. But in honour of Toots and seeing it was such a beautiful afternoon DS and I went for a bike ride this aft. Did 10 miles and half way around we sat at the top of a hill looking out over the corn fields and just feeling like everything was so right with the world.
I had to work when I came back but I am pretty much back on track now so will try and get up to date with the house work over the rest of the week.
Pigpen, you must be making a serious impression on the house with all that flinging. And I know where you are coming from with the need to do something. I had 2 years off work and started back doing a bit of voluntary work which gave me such a boost. That led to me getting a "proper" job.
Hugs skint. Off to get DS2 into bed then will be off myself.0 -
Skint - Hugs & coping vibes on their way.
Work done, tea done, DD nagged at to do homework, I have a little bit more admin to do tomorrow but I'm seeing order forms & numbers before my eyes so I figured it was better to stop before I make a mistake. :rotfl:

Good morning everyone
I'm glad that it's the living room this morning as it's a work day and I only have 15 minutes to spare. We recently changed rooms around here and moved the living room into the larger back room. There is no clutter and junk which can appear over time so I will spend 5 minutes vacuuming and polishing the use the other 10 on the bathroom. Then the nursery drop off and work.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%
