  • Morning everyone.

Sorry I didn't catch up yesterday - laptop probs!! I did manage to finish researching and send the important email. Now have a list of things to do but will prioritize them first.

Sorry to hear your car problems Skinty.

LW you have us as well as Mr LW, just like we are blessed to have you.

Dining room table has again disappeared under paper so will try and clear it off again today. It's not really the correct height for me to sort things so I usually use the ironing board - but there is so much of it!!!

    Plan for today
    quick HHC at 8.30 downstairs
    HHIroning and PA
Have hair apt at 12.30 so will need to be on the tram before 12 so it's an early lunch for me. Then vol job this afternoon. Got to pop into vol job 1 first to pick up some stuff for vol job 2 Halloween party.

I am hoping that things will get better next week as I now have fasting bloods appt Thurs am, dentists, Fri am and vol job 1 Thurs am and vol job 2 Fri pm - so not much house or me time at all!!!!

    Keep up the good work.x

    Morning all :D

Determined to get the house clean top to bottom today. Haven't done that since the start of the summer holidays! TV is off, my CDs are on, and I've already spent 45 straightening upstairs & putting a wash load on! Living room today? Brilliant, did that yesterday!

I have gone through a pile of paperwork, filed some properly and thrown out the rubbish. This is ongoing task, as the corners of most rooms seem to have silted up with clutter.

Will continue pottering about in the living room, and maybe a little light gardening - there's so much to do, but most too heavy for me to tackle for a while yet. May bribe DD and DS1.:D

Pigpen, you must be making a serious impression on the house with all that flinging. And I know where you are coming from with the need to do something. I had 2 years off work and started back doing a bit of voluntary work which gave me such a boost. That led to me getting a "proper" job.
I can relate to this; the dog-sitting is what gives me the motivation to get out of bed in the mornings.:o
LW you have us as well as Mr LW, just like we are blessed to have you.
    Thank you. x :o

Well, the Hairy Hooligans were picked up this morning; my next booking was to start on 8th Oct, but the franchisee has asked me to have Jessie from 2nd to 6th Oct, as his daughter's got an important swimming meet (she's of the standard to swim for her country) and he's determined to go and watch her compete.:T
Last night we filled another archiving box with kitchen equipment we can manage without - we've packed away most of the "good" china. And today, after the dogs left, I took the plastic crate they have inverted as a table for their water dish, turned it back the right way, and filled it with supplies from the food cupboard - tins, bottles and jars - and stashed it in the spare room, alongside my crates of "spare" stores. And I've put the stash of "spare" cleaning stores in a box in the shed, so that's a bit more kitchen cupboard emptied.

I shall throw the Dys0n round in a bit; Bailey & Cassie have left a fair bit of their coats on the lounge carpet, and there's a load of grass been tracked into the kitchen.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Kitchen is looking much better for a good clean if only of the work tops and the tins of paint being put away until I need them :o Livingroom has been tidied up, work away until tomorrow, lots of washing juggled, and lunch munched :D Now heading upstairs to actually clean as that floor is the most neglected :o Think I definitely need to fling in DDs wardrobe, I noticed she still has her old blouses that are too small hanging in there, and I have a hanging vacuum bag for her bulky bridesmaid dresses and a few other things she insists on keeping ;) Time to empty henry and go attack it!
