  • I think there is a little bit of blame to be shared between all three, however the 'deal' would not have existed but for moneysavingexpert blagging as I understand it. Something has gone wrong somewhere and I cannot understand why MSE/SKY and Affiliate cannot get together and sort this out on mass as opposed to making us chase it up individually. The comments emerging from forums such as this are doing them no favours in terms of positive marketing and no doubt they will lose more revenue in the long term from lost customer loyalty.

If im honest, I am beyond the blame game and just want it sorted. I have been dealing with both MSE and Affiliate and have been promised the £92 by the end of next week. ( Though this sounds promising, I have been told this two times previous to this latest promise...so we shall see!!)

I will let you all know if it ever arrives!
  • I have been told similar by Affiliate Window wrt the £92 twice now. Once back in Jan and then again earlier this month. I'm not holding my breath though but will see. Will update here if I hear any more.
  • GOT IT!!!!

£100 M&S voucher emailed from Sky yesterday.

    Thank you MSE.

I had no luck chasing this up directly with Sky, but after contacting MSE on voucherhelp@moneysavingexpert.com the matter has now been resolved.

    Good luck to you all.
  • Just to add... Im also in the same position as what seems like a lot of people. Got the £100 voucher from sky very quick. Still waiting 4 months now - for the £92 from affiliate window - several emails exchange with Kate.... keep going round in circles, no vouchers.... will keep checking this forum to see if anyone makes progress.
  • The recent best broadband offers published on mse detailed the sky unlimited deal giving away £100 m and s vouchers if a current Sky tv customer which I am. The offer showed as ending at midnight on 12/02/15 therefore I went on line through the link to order the deal to discover it was actually £50 rather than a £100. On phoning up today to query this I was told that the mse site was wrong and that the £100 voucher was only for new customers who don't have sky tv contrary to what was suggested on the mse site. Even when I did threaten to cancel the order hoping they would add the other £50 they didn't budge and basically said to bash on. Bummer!
  • It's unbelievable - they are still at it! Possibly the Advertising Standards Authority http://asa.org.uk/ might be interested if you made a complaint, especially after all we have gone through the first time around.
  • So, I finally got my £92 M&S vouchers from Affiliate Window. Here's how (in case this is useful for anyone)...

I had an email back in Jan from AW saying my vouchers had been ordered and I would get an estimated delivery date. I waited but heard nothing so after a lot of chasing I got another email in Feb essentially saying essential the same - the vouchers had been ordered and I would get an estimated delivery date. I didn't think this was acceptable so immediately followed-up again, requesting to know when this would be fully resolved. I wanted an end date.

I didn't hear anything despite sending more emails so I then emailed pretty much their entire board of directors (their names are on the Affiliate Window website and their email addresses are fairly easy to work out from that). I stated that if I didn't get an acceptable response by the end of the week, I would have to take this to The Insolvency Service and small claims court (both of which I would have been willing to do).

At 17:38 on Friday, I received the following from Anthony Clements - their UK Country Manager (I'm guessing he went home at 17:39 and sent this intentionally at the end of my 'deadline'):
Let me firstly apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

I want to explain the process to you here. We track, on behalf of Sky, that you have completed the voucher form and then completed your purchase on the Sky site. Then, Sky send us confirmation that your purchase has been completed and we fulfil the voucher. In this case our requirement was to fulfil a voucher to the value of £92. Any additional vouchers would have been the responsibility of Sky.

In this case, we did not track a record that your transaction on the Sky website had been completed.

However, as a gesture of goodwill and in light of the inconvenience you, I am happy to provide you a voucher for the full value that we are responsible for with compliments of Affiliate Window. You will find this e-voucher attached to this email. Please follow the instructions in the email to redeem the voucher.

    Kind Regards
    Anthony

There's so much wrong with this response that I still don't believe what they say. For instance:

    1) Why was I told in Jan my vouchers had been ordered?
    2) Why was I told in Feb my vouchers had been ordered?
    3) I had an email from AW back in Sep, the Sky service was installed in Sept, I received my £100 M&S vouchers back in Sep. How could this not have tracked?
    4) Why are they not responding to people who have signed up through them? Why are emails being ignored?
    5) How could there be so many people in the same situation? Why are they not pro-actively looking/fixing this?

But anyway, I've got my £92 now. I suggest perhaps if anyone is still waiting for theirs that they try a similar approach, using The Insolvency Service and small claims court if needed.

If anyone wants any more info as to how I dealt with this, them PM me and I'll try to help further.

Me too, also many emails with Kate.have now been informed I will get it on Thursday. Have been promised it many times so not holding my breath!
  • Well it finally arrived last night at 9.30pm! :T....I nearly fell off my chair I was so shocked.

Without sounding ungrateful, I reckon that if I add up all the hours of emailing....and checking email(+spam) continuously for the illusive voucher, not to mention all the mental frustration, they owe me £920!! not £92! Anyhoo, I am glad its finally come to a close.

I sincerely hope everyone who has struggled gets theirs too. My advice has to be to keep at them, even though it may not seem worth it and it is tempting to let it go. They should not be allowed to get away with the shoddy customer service they have demonstrated during this deal.

    Good luck everyone!
  • I did this deal in September last year.. So obviously well over the 90 days wait for the £92 voucher. Has anyone received it at all??
