HSBC left a message to call back urgently  :(why does it still have this effect on me, its been two months on token payments which they had not accepted but have paid anyway.

Trying to pluck up courage to call. didn't want to "deal" with that sort of stuff this week.
    NOA:(

    Hi neighbour!

Be brave NOA. You can do it. It might not be bad news. You can reward yourself with a Mars bar afterwards. We are here for you. If you don't do it the worry will still be like a cloud hanging over you. Do it and then come back and moan about it to us.

    Thanks PBS.
Made the call :) and it wasn't so bad - this chap was a lot nicer than the lady I spoke to last time who was really abrupt, like it was her personal money that owed or something! This chap was really sweet and said that the most important thing was to keep home and family safe. He has put a hold on calls for another 60 days as I explained that work had picked up somewhat. He said that it was obvious we were doing what we could and that it would not take much of a break to turn things around.....if only they were all like that!

    Hi NOA :hello:

Don't let the predators spoil your special times......or any other times for that matter :)

They are ringing because they don't know the score and to be honest, telling them things are picking up and leaving everything 'open' is just prolonging the agony. Give them an income and expenditure based on an absolute worst case scenario. Tell them what you can afford to pay them each month, whether it be £100, £1 or 25p. They will then set up a payment arrangement and the computer will be happy and if the computer is happy then so is everybody else.......they will not ring you until the end of the arrangement. :D

My payment arrangements are reviewed mostly every 6 months.....one 12 months and one 3 months. I know that what I am saying is very 'male' :rotfl: !!! Please disregard that because it is definitely the thing to do to guarantee peace and allow you to live life and enjoy the special times without interruption......:) !!!

I have holiday agreed over all of Crimbo and New Year and I am going to send out new I&E statements to the predators to spread the gloom a little for the New Year :rotfl:!!!!

Hey Brogden, You're right (as usual! but I would never in a million years say that to my DH;))...I need to man up. This was 2.5 months so the 3 month review was coming up but they have yet to write and accept my token payments. They have income and exps showing only have enough for token payments - and I did say circumstances haven't changed as when the recent projects are paid for it will only go towards a buffer as this living from day to day is a real strain.

Spoilt about an hour today just as DD and I getting ready to go out shopping before school pick up! and I know I shouldn't let them. Am relying on you to keep on reminding me Brogden! :o

We did get out and we did really well (sorry SHE did really well )....went to a certain cheap shop Prima**k and she got 5 items of clothing for £26 ---she is so MSE now:rotfl:

Am off now for a sleepless night probably - need to get tomorrow over and am dreading it. Then have a busy Saturday with volunteer work in the morning while teens still in bed and my fun job in the afternoon to earn £33 which will pay for popcorn as we going to cinema on Saturday night (courtesy of Mr T vouchers)...and will try and go see my parents on Sunday if at all poss
dad's birthday today:) before taking DD back on Sunday night....will try and sneak in and out at odd times in between!!
