Hello
I dont have a diary myself, but I do like reading everyone else's. Im a regular on the 'small things' thread on DFW & a bit more on the Old Style board as well so you may 'bump' into me there.
Im a mum myself to one little monkey who turns 6 next week. That time has just flown.
Hope you have a peaceful weekend.
Bob
Haven't been to those thread much yet - will wonder over when I get back into a routine again...

You're very welcome - thank you for your kind words. I love penguins - remember going to see The Last March (I think that was what it was called? about emperor penguins and their struggle to survive?) loved it. And the John Lew*s Christmas advert - have you seen it (it made me cry:p)?
Love saag paneer(with spinach I take it?)
Will find you but it may take a while so please feel free to post a link to your thread here (to make it easier for me;)) and I will pop by your page!

I don't have a diary on here, I just like reading others, popping in and out and taking inspiration from all of you. Maybe one day I might, but I don't feel like I have anything to write down rather than very trivial stuff.
Yes saag paneer is with spinach and is my go to healthy-ish I can't be bothered to cook and I want a takeaway (compromise) meal. It's mega easy and tasty, and fairly easy to make sure I have the ingredients (frozen spinach), and can nip out for paneer.
I have seen the JL advert, I always love their adverts, but then I have always loved JL (and penguins) so maybe I'm biased. I'm currently looking out for a penguin advent calendar but am so far drawing a blank!
Hope you're holding up ok

Lots of trivia on my threads but it just helps to offload here! I have been working this week so haven't had much time to post and I actually miss everyone! So am just sneaking in for a fix, and then will quietly creep out again......ssshhh......
Work isn't really working - it feels very relaxed and very easy - am just pottering along - no stress - no demands to speak off and am getting paid nearly 9.50 an hour so should have £240ish after tax this week - and free lunch, plus save diesel as it is at DS' schooltoday had pork in sweet sour sauce, rice veggies, a spoonful of about 6 different salads from the salad bar, yoghurt and B&B pudding with custard!
We have enough work to see us through Christmas and Jan - and another 2 enquiries in the last couple of days!:j:j This is unheard of this time of year but very welcome - hopefully we will be able to start building an emergency buffer. Spreadsheet totally out of date now, everything is all over the place.....
Need to sort out uniform/iron it for DS, then bed as only got 3-4 hrs sleep last night.
Will def have to catch up this weekend.
Hope you are all having a good week

Hi NOA
Don't worry about your diary being filled with trivia. I do this too and it is REALLY cheap therapy. It really helps to unload you mind into these diaries and debt busting is such a long slow slog that we literally can't be doing something EVERY day financially.
Your work sounds great. Nice to have a stress free job that pays well. :beer:0 -

I really needed this week at work - it was perfect - was covering staff absence in the school library - sitting in a nice environment, checking out books, helping with photocopier, registering new books (browsing whilst doing it) and cataloguing. Was very relaxing and therapeutic and librarian thought I was wonderful as I plodded through loads of stuff that had been sitting around for ages. It didn't take much mental effort but needed enough concentration that It kept my mind occupied and away from more morbid thoughts.
Feel very out of touch with everyone here, hope you are doing OK. Am not working away from home next week so hope to catch up
Take care

Puzz. xWould not have been very MSE, would it. As a result have only spent £50 on groceries this week! usually £70-80.
Not working next week now, so will try harder next week. Not looking forward to the funeral next week. But nice thing is that DD will hopefully come home weds and stay til Sunday! Will be lovely to see her properly.
Lets keep at it - I will go back to hot water rather than tea/coffee next week.
xx
